  • As a self-respecting conservative, christian man, I would never dream of touching a liberal woman with a twenty foot pole, never mind marrying one.

Oh wait, they aren’t talking about marital sex. My bad. In that case, they would be doing all of these men a favor. Take the opportunity to find a woman who is worth your attention.

I am a divorced single father and can attest to many years of bad decisions with women and bad relationships. I ultimately made a very determined effort to find a woman who was pro-life, against contraception, opposed to premarital sex, and serious about her faith. It did not take me long to find one with an online catholic dating site. As an added bonus she is gorgeous as well. These women are out there. Everywhere. Men need to be men and start demanding higher standards in the women they look for, and the same goes for women.

A very well-known theologian said, ““When a man loves a woman, he has to become worthy of her. The higher her virtue, the more noble her character, the more devoted she is to truth, justice, goodness, the more a man has to aspire to be worthy of her. The history of civilization could actually be written in terms of the level of its women.”

  • We can make our own bibles too!

  • What do you expect; this is the hogwash you get when one’s faith is divorced from the truth (Catholicism).

What are there…40,000 denominations and counting? Hey I have an idea of this weekend!! Lets start a protestant denomination! Yeah!

  • Dear Afgan women and girls: When we finally leave your hell-hole of a country, we will be bringing you with us. You may end becoming Christian, but you won’t be deliberately poisoned in your drinking water, murdered for your family’s honor, or have your face melted with acid. We’ll take good care of you.

As for the men, they can have the goats. After all, Mohammed liked goats, too.

  • I will put my money on Romney selecting Nikki Haley in order to try to sway women voters. This would be a huge mistake, which is the reason why I’m sure they they will do it. Republicans seem to have a proclivity for boneheadedness.

  • As a Christian, I am sympathetic to her wanting to baptize her child.

However, this story should not be about religion at all. This is about a woman who entered into an agreement, a parenting plan…which all parents must do in divorce cases involving children. She signed that parenting plan that stated very clearly that decisions would be shared.

If she had a grievance about the parenting plan after the fact, because she could not reach any compromise with her ex regarding the baptism, then she should have submitted a petition to modify the parenting plan. She didn’t. She acting on her own fancy and violated the court’s order which was only to follow the parenting plan they she and her ex husband agreed to. So she is in contempt of that order. It is as simple as that.

The judge would be perfectly right and justified in sentencing her to some jail time for violating the court order otherwise what good are court orders, parenting plans, and the process in general?

It is the judge’s duty to look at this issue in light of the law, not in light of any sympathies he may have for her faith. That is not how our court systems are set up. We might as well adopt something akind to sharia law (civil-religious governance) if our court opinions and orders are going to be based on this or that faith matter.

  • Rangerp…

Show me one example in the bible where it says they should be excluded.

But if you are serious about wanting an answer to your challenge, please read this:

  • By the way, I love to bring my five year old son to McDonalds for a Happy Meal…something we do about once a month. How excited he gets when I tell him we are going out for such a little treat. I try to include healthier options with it…..like the milkshake in lieu of some other drink.

  • The idiot can stop going to McDonalds if she doesn’t want her kids exploited. But she continues going there. Don’t that make her a child-exploitation enabler? Or an accessory to child exploitation?

These are the questions we need to be asking!!!

  • The Catholic catechism and biblical teaching are one and the same. Don‘t comment if you don’t know what you’re talking about.
