  Many of us experimented with things like petty theft and underage drinking. That doesn‘t mean we’re not Christians. It also doesn’t make those things okay.

  Our church doesn’t “rent” to any one, we let MEMBERS use it free of charge. I can’t imagine renting out our church, seems kind of blasphemous to me. Maybe the churches that are trying to turn a profit aren’t going to mind the new rules anyway, as long as they get their money.

  This is fine with me. When I look at the Christian display I see love. When I look at the atheist display I see hate. The contrast of those two displays right next to each other highlights Christ’s love and sacrifice for us. Accept the love.

  I’m 41 and have gone back to school to become a teacher. On my first day of my teaching methods class we had to read an except of an essay of his. It’s total indoctrination in the universities. It’s sad and very frightening.

  If we used insurance for its intended purpose, unforseen emergency expenses, and not for routine care, our employers would still be able to provide it practically free of charge like they used to. When I started working in 1986 my insurance was $5.14 a week.
