  Remember him with a tear and a smile. An incredibly gracious and generous man. His sax player Aviva Maloney is an endorser of our Saxgourmet saxophones and introduced us to him. After Katrina, he paid for us to stay at a hotel for a week until we could get a wall to our house replaced. Always generous to the people around him, always positive, always loving. A talented man who shared everything he had with those he loved.

  Dear DEUTERONOMY22 – the mayor and the county commissioners are in jail – bribery was proven – what is also proven is that for 45 years Black Democrats ran this county and used it as their personal credit card. The last mayor bought $105,000 worth of suits in New York and billed it to the county as “business development”. Rational people fled this decades ago into the suburbs or other states (like me) – but now even they are getting the bill for this corruption. Birmingham is famous the world over for its Democratic political crooks. Maybe they will vote someone in other than a “community activist” next time
