  • I wish you would stop being such a tard. Sorry for the honesty.

  • Allow me to repeat a piece of the article for you, since you’re obviously too busy to read it before commenting: Free speech is allowed outside of shopping areas. Courts have ruled that it’s free speech. Those practicing it are not “interfering with commerce,” they’re practicing their first amendment rights. Thanks though.

  • Right on! I too hate having to THINK when talking to friends. I mean, screw that. Unless it’s shoved down my throat by a priest, I don’t want it!

  • People like you are quite irritating too, you know. Why can’t you just be concerned with your life, your family, and your work, like all of the gay people I know, and instead feel the need to spend time trying to detract from the lives of others?

    Just another ignorant moron… sigh…

  • Because there is nothing wrong with being gay, and because people persecute gay people. Case in point: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Laramie_Project .

Also, it’s tough to “argue” about something unless someone else is also “arguing”. So, answer me this: why do some people feel that it’s necessary to keep people from enjoying the same rights that everyone else has?

  • This is more of a response to Coled, but for some reason this site doesn’t allow nested comments:

The only reason that there is a “male” and “female” of each kind of plug is because there needs to be consistent contact between the contacts on the cables. It would be trivial to design a flat surface with contacts that was magnetic, whereon a plug could be placed, thus bridging the connection and allowing data to be communicated.

Also, you’ve obviously been out of the loop for awhile. There’s this thing called “wireless” now, where data magically travels through the air and arrives at its destination. I know, blasphemy, right? Unless you’re jamming something pointy into something with a hole, it can’t be legal.

  • Well, no, private property can’t be invaded. Have you ever seen solicitors inside a store? Didn’t think so (unless they’re there with the express permission of the establishment). The area in front of a store is a different story though, especially if it’s the government, a.k.a. tax dollars, a.k.a. the public, funding the infrastructure that allows a business to be built there in the first place.

I, for one, think that free speech is a right worth defending.

  • 1) No, not all. There are definitely churches out there that love everyone equally. http://www.gaychurch.org/

    2) Marriage is part religious ceremony, part legal benefit. Why should the legal benefit be denied to two people that love one another? If your church wants to keep discriminating, fine, but there’s no reason to deny people the legal rights that everyone else has.

  • So why not just, I don’t know, walk past the people trying to talk to you? Ever walk down a street in a big city? Plenty of homeless people do the same thing, you can learn to walk by them.

  • No, if you had read the article, the courts have made that choice. Not the stores. Target is suing because they want the protesters removed, since they are harming Target’s business.

Also, I thought that Christian religion was all about peace and tolerance? If someone does something counter to the bible, they go to hell, and that’s their punishment, right? There‘s no reason to be ignorant and rude to them because they’re disagreeing with the point of view fed to you by your religion.
