  Exactly. Thanks for answering my question this time. Are you a Christian? It doesn’t seem very Christian to ignore a request for chapter and verse to back-up something that seems not to be supported by scripture.

  There is just one problem with the reference;

  1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

  1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

  1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

  The problem with pre-tribulation rapture, is it is plainly not supported. If something is not easy enough for a child to understand, then it isn’t of the Lord. One does not need to read between the lines, with the Word.

  The Lord returns after the tribulations. After the two witnesses lay dead in the streets of Jerusalem for 3 days. Probably around a christmas time, because everybody is giving each other gifts after the two witnesses are killed…but thats another discussion.

  When he descends with a shout, the dead shall rise first, THEN we shall be caught-up. My main concern is that those of you who dismiss out of hand any understanding contrary to what you believe, will fall by the wayside because of lack of contextual understanding.

  1Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

  1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

  1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

  Again, after the sound of the trumpet and the Lord descends…This takes place at the end of the Great Tribulations, after the Two Witnesses are killed. They rise first, because they are dead, then we will be caught-up.

  Joh 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

  Joh 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

  Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

  Unless you have the Seal of God and are of the 144,000, or die before or during it, you will feel the full effects of the Tribulation. But even the 144,000 will not be caught-up until our Lords return.

  The reason that I asked you this question here, is because you didn’t answer it in another post. Thank you for the response, and to answer your question, no, I am not a Christian. I am a Messianic Jew, and you are my Brother.

  None of this really matters to TrollTrainer, since he believes in being “raptured out” before the tribulations. I would really like to believe this too, but have thus far been unable to find chapter and verse to confirm it…
