  • George Zimmerman Charged With Murder

    April 11, 2012 at 6:44pm

    In reply to socwker.

    Bernbart, you are an idiot.

  • Onikaze, you need to do your homework. Paul is not an isolationist, he’s a non-interventionist. There is a huge difference. How can you say that Paul’s foreign policy scares you? Dropping bombs all over middle east is what should scare you. Nevermind the fact that we are broke. We need to just plain mind our own business and stop killing people.

  • George Patton: Liberal sensibility? Seriously. Since when does sending our boys and girls to die for foreigners become a left or right issue. While its true that all of our wars are political in nature (since WWII anyway), the fact that you support this is shameful. If we are Christians, we ought to reserve force as a very last option. The neo-cons and the modern military industrial complex have made war our first option and over 1 million people have died at the hands of our military in the last two decades. Am I reading you right? Killing one million people is justified when we were never threatened by Iraq? Think about it…1 million people..Fathers, Mothers, Children. Killing innocent people is one of the few exports we have left.

  • I agree, which is why I support Ron Paul. Bring our troops home, save the dollar, cut our deficit and the size of the government. More liberty benefits everyone.

  • True conservative? You’ve seriously got to be kidding me. Mr. I supported Arlen Spector so that he could be the swing vote for Obamacare. Mr. I‘ve never met a foreign aid bill that I didn’t support. Mr. I’ve voted for every debt ceiling increase. The list goes on and on. The only thing Santorum is conservative on is his social views, but he has NO respect for the constitution of the limits on power it places on the executive and legislative branches. But, you‘ll likely be excited because he’s promised us another war if he gets into the Whitehouse, so we can kill more innocent civilians as well as our own men and women in uniform. Santorum got lucky, he suged before anyone could scrutinize his record. You can be sure he’ll take a beating in New Hampshire.

  • “dumb enough to right him a check”

I‘m glad I wasn’t dumb enough to post that retarded comment and then spell the word “write” incorrectly. Your third grade literary skills tell me everything I need to know about you.

  • Well said. If we dont fix our economy, msave the dollar, and dramatically slash our spending, we’re going to end up closing those bases and pulling out of our wars regardless due to a complete econmic collapse. The only difference is tht Paul will strategically pull us out and leave us a strong defense for the homeland.

  • So in other words, he should have violated his oath of office in order to “close a deal”. You have zero integrity and are no different than the very people in Washington that I’d like to replace. Dr. Paul has followed the constitution and takes his oath of office seriously. The fact that he has had a difficult time getting his bills passed shows you just how little everyone else in Congress cares about the constitution.

  • What is with The Blaze? I haven’t seen one positive story on Dr. Paul. This is the same reason I cancelled my GBTV membership. Glenn et al.likes to rail against the establishment pushing an agenda, but then he goes and pushes the same agenda as Fox. Dr. paul is the most conservative candidate running. Pulling our troops out of undeclared wars is not “left wing”, its constitutional.

  • Ron Paul: ‘I’m Pretty Mainstream’

    January 1, 2012 at 3:08pm

    In reply to bringiton.

Ron Paul is very mainstream for those who wish to listen to what he says, not how the media spins it. Paul never said he wants Iran to have a nuke. He simply said that given all their neighbors have nukes, its seems normal for them to pursue one. However, even though Paul wishes there were less nukes, Iran does not pose such an immanent threat that he is willing to send our young men and women to die. We ought o have a very high threshold for war. Unfortunately, the neo-cons as well as many if the posters on this site have a very low threshold for war and are all to eager to send someone else’s kids to die. Why does Paul receive more support from our Military than all the other candidates put together? Maybe Dr. Paul is only mainstream with those who have to fight the wars.
