  i never understood the people that spend their time trolling news sites to spit vitriol about their ignorant understanding of separate agenda. the Illinois case (75 years) is a joke, he will likely not see a day in jail, operative words in the story are UP TO 15 years for each count, some states have jay walking punishments of UP TO jail time, murder is punishable UP TO execution, etc etc.

  it is generally LEGAL to film cops, cops don’t like it, it doesn’t make sense to them and the act of filming is seen as a very real to threat to them…normal people do not film cops, people with misguided agendas, gotcha wannabe “journalist” and agitators film cops, this was a dash cam video..the dashboard OF THE COP CAR….

  the “police” do not film the public at large, there is not an officer watching every minute of every traffic, bank and security camera in every corner of the country….use your effin heads, apply the common sense test before running your ignorant mouths…and parroting half truths, talking points and sensationalized information.

  these cops did their jobs professionally and without regard to their own safety, they acted as a team, communicated, relied on their training and the internal drive to do what is right and they saved lives…so the next time a cop “harasses” you, think of this video and the thousands like it that happen everyday that you never hear or see.(put your camera down, shut your mouth, and troll/blog about it later from your pa

  McVeigh was anti-government, depending on what spectrum one employs, that is the ABSURD extreme end of what we refer to as right-wing (on the American spectrum). Anarchist? maybe, but definitely delusional and clearly homicidal. Somehow our cousins across the pond adopted the view that national socialism is somehow associated with the American right. It seems that any opposition to blind adherence to the all knowing, all powerful, all compassionate state is now the extreme right….welcome to 1984, someone shouldve told our friendly government minders that it was a warning, not an instruction manual.

  Its irresponsible and agenda driven journalism (in my humble opinion) to associate a shooter with a political mindset; fringe notwithstanding, period. Especially before the victims are even cold. I live in Pittsburgh, where 3 city officers were killed by a gunman a few years ago. Beck, Hannity, Rush etc were all listed as being motivations for the shooters mindsets. How bout, hes an a$$40le, who might think x, y, z but thats not why people are dead. The SHOOTER is why they are dead.

  i don‘t understand why he wasn’t cuffed post-shooting and why no first aid was rendered once he was cuffed… the video starts with what looks like 3 officers on scene, and sirens shortly thereafter likely indicating more officers en route, that being said, the video neither shows the shooting nor the events leading to it…and im not monday morning quarterbacking the involved po po, but until you secure the shooter and his gun, the threat remains…

  The problem with filming officers may not be all that clear to those who dont work in Law Enforcement. The VAST and i mean overwhelming number of LEO‘s are good people who perform a thankless and dangerous job which the VAST and i mean overwhelming majority of the public can simply not relate to nor grasp the crazy and bizarre stuff LEO’s encounter on a daily basis. Generally speaking, average people do not video record cops, that is to say, if you are video taping a cop, you likely have an agenda, or you just happen to be there when the event and cop collide. LEO’s dont want their faces, vehicles, tactics and procedures broadcast all over the internet or evening news, despite what you may think LEO’s are not glory hungry nor do they crave the spotlight. When the shift is over they want to go home, crack a beer and disappear. There ARE people and groups out there who dedicate their time and resources to hurt, both professionally, personally and even physically LEO’s. Its not about being caught doing something wrong, videoing a cop doing their job is unnatural to a cop and is seen as a very real threat. Cops are suspect of everyone and everything and tend to notice things that dont belong because that very thing usually precedes a bad day for the officer. Of course, and generally, there is no law prohibiting it, but why do it? Most LEO’s contacts are boring and mundane, videotaping the mundane makes it less mundane and sets the cops spidey sense off.

Its like having me argue physics with hawkings…by continually putting baseless blatant liberal commentary next to legitimate journalism fox is propping up stewart as a journalist to the untold minions of head bobbing tweeners that get their news from him. a huge swath of voters actually believe jon stewart is a credible news outlet, DESPITE and to his credit, his claiming to be a comedian…comedians tell jokes, journalist report the news – there is a line, stewart crosses it and until fox stops reporting on stewarts fake news as news, his audience will grow and more mush heads will do what the funny man on comedy central tells them to

  Its not Gun Control – its a useful lead generating tool that allows followup and trending information on people buying rifles which are headed to mexico – the “targets” are NIETHER the gun dealers NOR the law abiding citizens – if an individual goes to 5 different gun shops in southern arizona and buys 3 AK style rifles, 2 AR-15 style rifles and 2 hunting rifles in a week….its a good bet the buyer is either preparing for the collapse of western society or funneling rifles to mexico…on the other hand if someone buys two high end hunting rifles at the same time, same caliber, make and model – its likely a collector or father / son hunting purchase…utilizing legitimate lead generating DATA is a far cry from an Orwellian crack down on rights….the information is filtered and worked – common sense is applied to whatever is gleaned

  absolutley close the damn border, build a fence, line it with the gaurd, use land mines, dogs and bees, do whatever is necessary, but for gods sake in the mean time expand a legitimate lead generating tool and stop the flood of weapons across the border that are fueling massacres of thousands of mexican innocents and police

  I am amazed at how many people just dont get it…the tea party is nothing more than an idea, deeply rooted in the most basic, fundamental concept of America….the individual. “Members” of the tea party have no national leader, no charter, no defined platform other than the over used and under defined concept of Freedom. That is what terrifies the left and the hack jobs like Bill Mahr and dangle and the parrots in the media…they cant control what they cant define. They cant argue with the idea because they dont understand it, they really are unable to grasp the concept of self determination and individual choice, without someone in govnt or the media telling them what to think or who to hate, whats right or wrong, they are rudderless in the sea of buzzwords and Rush’s drive by media. They see the wave growing but they are powerless to define it or change course because no one told them how to deal with individuals, they only understand groups and victims. The idea of the tea party, like the original American Experiment rejects both concepts out of hand. The tea party is a group, granted; but a group of individuals not a mindless group-think mass of lemmings….and the left just can not deal with that…..if the tea party does nothing but rattle the cages of the house and senate and makes some more people ask some more questions, the idea stays alive…..
