  • Couldn’t this be construed as child abuse?

  • They supported Harry Reid in the last election. While he is a proclaimed gun rights advocate, he is a member of a party that would enthusiastically confiscate guns.

  • This supports my theory: The “Live Free or Die” state has been overtaken by liberal invaders from neighboring Taxachussetts. Libertarians – with the same idea – were beaten to the punch.

  • So…exploit your looks, where other beauties won’t, because they find it shameful. Take advantage of the niche market thus created, and make a killing. Then repudiate the whole business, while keeping the ill-gotten money. Then get on TV and tell us – who made the moral decision before the fact, not after – how to behave.

  • The superhighway to socialism is the progressive income tax code. Newt proposes a low, flat tax; while Romney‘s and Santorum’s proposals remain, ahem, progressive. Progressivity allows those who pay little or no taxes to vote enthusiastically for those who promise to raise the rates of the rest of us.

Yes, being born well-off does have its perks. What’s your point?

I strongly agree. Don’t choose the Dole-McCain successor. Choose the Reagan successor.* Don’t listen to cheerleaders for the non-Newt, high-spending, bridge-to-nowhere Congress they favor over the Newt-led Congress that balanced the budget without raising taxes. If Newt couldn’t lead then, as his detractors assert, then he deserves all the credit for those accomplishments!

Glenn, Yes, Newt praised FDR, which I‘d rather he didn’t, but so did Reagan. On your same show, you talked about progressive income taxes being, well, progressive. Well, among Newt, Romney, and Santorum, only one favors a flat tax, and at a fairly low rate That’s Newt! His proposed rate is 15%. I prefer the Newt Congress of the 90′s to the non-Newt RINO Congress from about 2000 to 2006. Yet it‘s these establishment RINO’s who say Newt’s not a true conservative. I wish you’d come around to reassessing Newt. Two Reagan’s – Michael and Nancy – can’t be all wrong.
