  Yes, but the exorbitant cost is due to these defense contractors… I was offered a job to leave the military and manage an Internet cafe in Iraq for 6 mo of the year for $80K. Also gear, weapons, and simple everyday supplies bought from GSA cost us way more than the commercial of the shelf things.

  This guy was probably administratively discharged at best, kicked out and not re-enlisted at worst either way there was no way to verify he was even a Marine. Regardless, the Marine Corps has members from all walks of life, even ignorant psychos. Real Marines would not stand with insubordinate, lawless, unruly, and disturbing belligerents. We always protect and shelter the weak and helpless, but these angry riotous OWL mobs are far from that. NYPD is keeping law and order.

  LOL. Both of my parents were born in Mexico and were brought here as teenagers… They taught all of us kids (5) that we are American and we should serve and thank our nation for the things we have. 4 of 5 of us served or are serving in the US military; the others are out and professionals; I should retire after my 20 years of service. It embarrases me and shames all of us when stupid people make us look ignorant and unpatriotic. What surprises me the most is how English is not taught and Spanish is accepted. Sorry but this only exacerbates the stereotypes and puts kids behind from the start!

  ELIASIM WTF are you talking about? As an American-Mexican AD Marine there is no way in hell I would fight against my country the U.S.A. It really bothers me Mexicans who come here and expect the laws, the language, culture, and traditions should change because they are too lazy to assimilate and learn anything, those who consider themselves Mexicans first should go back to your lovely country. I love it here and America will give you all the opportunity to succeed, the only requirement is that you can’t be ignorant and you have to put out and you have to try not put your hand out.
