  • Representative West took the words right out of my mouth! I am so glad he is in Congress, and I hope he will continue to be supported by his constituents. He is the type of legislator that this country sorely needs, and I hope he will see fit to continue to bravely serve especially at this time when our enemies are insinuating themselves into every segment of our society, including the White House. To speak out boldly in the face of such opposition takes a courageous person. We all need courage and we need to let those people in government who are upholding their oath to protect and defend the Constitution, know that we are deeply grateful. Bravo for Representative West!!!

  • Shame on Gen. Odierno and shame on West Point for bowing to the demands of political correctness and also for caving to the demands of CAIR. We do still have freedom of speech in this country but only as long as we protect it. If we self-censor our speech to please the PC crowd and the Islamists, we are throwing away one of our most important freedoms. In effect, only the PC crowd and the Islamists will then have that freedom.

  • This is the first time I have decided to comment. What has been done is a disgrace to our military, and General Odierno should be ashamed. The cadets must be made aware of the threat posed by CAIR and its minions. They are using our Constitutional freedoms to destroy our country from within. This must be stopped.

  • How sad. Our liberties are being taken from us from under our very noses. The ACLU has stood in opposition to free speech when a Christian wants to express some form of his faith in public, yet will defend the “right” to teach about Islam in our public schools and defends the “right” of Muslims to wear the burka or pray in a separate room during school hours. Praying to God by a Christian or a Jew is actively being eraticated from the public scene. The Ten Commandments must be removed from in front of court buildings, yet our legal system was founded on the precepts contained in them. Christmas trees are no longer allowed – even though it actually is a pagan symbol – etc., etc. ad nausium. Yet the likes of Bill Ayres teaches his filthy spew to our kids in college and writes text books and has pictures taken of himself trampling our flag. His freedom of speach is defended. I defend it too, but I am angry that my freedom of speach as a Christian is being curtailed. The founding of this nation and the freedoms we enjoy, could never have happened had it not been for the fact that it was founded by people who were Christians who had lived with persecution for their beliefs, and the wanted to establish a nation tolerant of all faiths. God bless Natalie for being a patriot! We should all stand with her in spirit!

One more comment about freedom of speach: We should be responsible when we speak. Freedom is not license.
