I just spoke with a customer service rep at the phone number listed at the McDonald’s 365 “Contact Us” webpage: 1-800-244-6227.
The rep was unfamiliar with the comments of Van Jones, had me read the paragraph in which McDonald’s was mentioned three times, the last for transcription (I could hear the keyboard clacking). She assured me the comments would be forwarded to the correct department and since this is a new issue, no official comment from McDonald’s was yet available.
I asked her to please pass along my opinion that McDonald’s should treat this issue with strength and not cave to the political harassment routinely doled out by Van Jones and his satellites.
I informed her of my personal knowledge of McDonald’s 365 and the millions invested in that community.
She was sure, though, to inform me, in a strong and clear voice, that McDonald’s is no longer associated with ALEC (American Legislative Exchange

It would be interesting to know how McDonald‘s feels about Van Jones belittling those that begin their working careers at McDonald’s.
And how does McDonald’s feel after having invested millions of dollars in advertising which specifically targets the black community.

Huckabee’s been on my “Skip It” list for quite some time. After he maliciously attacked Glenn Beck with false accusations, that was all that was necessary to forever relegate Huckabee to the pile of media “personalities” uninformed and unimportant.
Will be interesting to read the follow-up on ‘The Blaze” as to how Huckabee explained his deliberate and glaring lie to the public.

In 1942, Stuart Chase, in his book “The Road We Are Traveling” spelled out the system of planning the Fabians had in mind.
1. Strong, centralized government.
2. Powerful Executive at the expense of Congress and the Judicial.
3. Government controlled banking, credit and securities exchange.
4. Government control over employment.
5. Unemployment insurance, old age pensions.
6. Universal medical care, food and housing programs.
7. Access to unlimited government borrowing.
8. A government managed monetary system.
9. Government control over all foreign trade.
10. Government control over natural energy sources, transportation and agricultural production.
11. Government regulation of labor.
12. Youth camps devoted to health discipline, community service and ideological teaching consistent with those of the authorities.
13. Heavy progressive taxation and hidden taxes on nations wealth.
The Fabian Socialist Revolution began in earnest in 1933 with the imposition of the Welfare State and has been steadily progressing since.

I agree. Where Romney stands in any and all polling is the main focal point of the election stories and from the guests brought on to all the programs. Then most often discussed is Gingrich because of his being so outspoken regarding the media so often. The story winds down and Santorum is always an afterthought. Paul isn’t even mentioned half the time, or, if he is, it’s with a dismissive gesture. Fox seems to be on the GOP establishment’s “Romney is the inevitable nominee” bandwagon. Too bad. Looks like Fox hasn’t learned anything regarding the power of the people, as in the TEA Party.
