  This is simply wrong. God is not in a bad mood. And nothing we do really affects His mood. To think God is happier when you act nice is simply wrong, as our good actions are like jumping to the moon, maybe they make you jump a bit higher, but you’re still pretty far off. Same with our bad actions. The difference though is when God looks at a Christian, He doesn’t judge us by the law, how good or bad we are, He sees Christ in us, our hope of glory. Someone without Christ is judged according to the law and their conscience, Christ isn’t seen in the good things they do. Now I agree that someone with Christ should start to become more Christ-like, but that doesn’t put God in a better mood or make God accept them more.

  Canadian’s are liberal minded? That’s why we have who in government again, versus you conservative Americans?

  You don’t need overwhelming evidence in Canada, you simply need evidence. Although our human rights tribunals are a bit out of control, I’d gladly swap court cases and show how America is going the way of the liberal.

  No it wouldn’t have been funny if someone had died, but no one did. Not only that, but when the guys were making the video, you have no idea if they called 911 first, and they had no idea she was hypoglycemic. If I saw a car 4×4ing in the median, I’d think it was funny as well. Add what if’s to any story and it just seems to not be funny. Why did the chicken cross the road? What if while crossing, a minivan swerved to miss it? What if that minivan was full of kids and hit a tree and they all died?

  God resists the proud gives grace to the humble. You don’t find too much humility when dealing with the liberal entertainment industry, therefore it is no surprise they insult God. Me, I think God can handle it, even if He desires they repent, so I don’t see the big issue.

  No offense taken, but before you write us all off, a tightly held corporation can remunerate their shareholders in things like say…dividends, which are taxed less and avoid things like workers compensation and get huge tax credits if done correct. And you may not understand, but if there are issues of income splitting and holding companies then perhaps you will pay way less taxes. Oh right, that’s why people do it. But what do I know.

  Personally though, I’m all for low corporate taxes, just for everyone.

  Moses was married to a black woman. And if people want the God who created the world by simply speaking it to be simple, Christianity isn’t the religion for you. But as far as this issue, there is no verse that is being twisted to promote this stupidity, it‘s simply stupidity for stupidity’s sake.
