  • Want to See Rep. Allen West Rip ‘Think Progress’?

    February 21, 2012 at 2:29pm

    In reply to TOMSERVO.

For a minute, Tom, I thought you were talking about the Bush years. You know, the years that the liberals never, ever said a bad thing about the President.

  • @google-expert…i agree with you thought granny or biker will get all angry and call me names and make one feel sorry for the police. Come on, there are good cops but what google-expert said is true….you cannot persuade me that stopping someone for speeding on an open highway where there are hardly any cars has anything to do with safety or protection of the public. Of course, there is no need for the police officer to continue working for the pay he gets if it’s so bad. Always hear this about the police and teachers but how many of them quit? Now, I admit I wouldn’t want to be a police officer but they are still allowed to quit – right?

  • Used to love Walmart–get everything I needed under one roof. Now, I see baggy pants people the store without being stopped but my clean and properly dressed family leaves the register right by the door and we get asked for our receipt. Peeves me off. I don’t shop at Walmart unless necessary. On another note, I’m all for rule of law. I hope that police officer was in the right as too many times recently, seems as if the police believe they do not serve and protect the citizenry anymore but that they are to subjugate the people. I’d like to see a little more of the wild west come back. I‘ll follow the law but don’t trample my freedom or rights.

  • Hmm…until you come across someone that takes you down. Just because a person has a badge does not mean they are above the law. Touch me when I have done nothing wrong, I use self-defense.

  • Go Air Force! I totally agree with his rational thought. Unfortunately, rational, logical thought does not fit into political correctness. My goodness, check out some history. America used to call a spade a spade but can’t anymore. Crazy.

  • @ Your Sensei…Lord help us if you were a former district attorney if this is the caliber of people we have in the District Attorney’s Office.

  • @BrerRabbit, take it from a Yankee that has traveled to many locations and lived in many locations that all Yankees do not think alike just as all Rebels don’t think alike. In fact, I know many Yankees that live in mountains and boonies that would put many a Southern Redneck to shame. As for Atlanta-area, come on BrerRabbit, I live in Georgia. I know about the Atlanta School System. I don’t think it were the Yankees that did the cheating on the tests, want to pay kids to go to school, etc. I know Atlanta. I don’t think the Yankee transplants have taken over. I do think Atlanta may be a lost cause but not because of any daggumit, non-bubba Yankees but thanks for the commentary.

  • You don’t have a heart–or a brain–if you think it is fine to give the children of illegals reduced tuition rates while a US citizen going to Texas would pay the full rate. What kind of compassion is that? Help the lawbreakers on the taxpayers’ dime while telling lawful citizens you got to pay the full price and the price for those here illegally. Yeah, makes sense to me. I thought it was good that Perry entered the race but he is not really the kind of person I want as President. Sure, I’d probably vote for him over Obama but geez. He seems to have a bit of the Obama complex. I know better than you. I‘ll make an Executive Order for a vaccine administration who cares if the people and the representatives don’t want that. I’ll give illegals reduced tuition even though they are here illegally. Rick Santorum did have a great point during the debate—if you know what to do about the border Perry then why isn’t it working. Sure, it‘s a Federal responsibility but don’t try to say you know what to do and are doing it while they continue to come here illegally. How well has it worked, Mr. Perry?

  • And this man is known by his union comrade friends as “the guy that gets along with everyone”.

  • Wonder if Jesse ever created jobs or had affirmative action forced upon him. The Good Rev sure knows how to create harmony.
