  • It is too bad that someone didn’t just accidently spill aome stain on the shirt. I guess you might even offer to buy a new one. Let’s not leave all the policing to the regulators. Just do it yourself. I am not advocating violence just smarts.
    Rom 8:28

  • Great remark! I agree. We leave too much for the rules and unions and especially the Gov to take care of us. This guy just moved (AS ANYONE WOULD WHO HAD GUTS). Quit leaning away from the responsibility of freedom. We must stand… no more “sunshine patriots.”

  • I am going to try to notice when someone buys this rag and tell them not to. I can’t imagine any more powerful response. If you can please reply and I will do it. Talk about pushing gramma off the cliff…I’d like to take Larry on a little trail here in the Black canyon.
    But Rom 8:28

  • You forgot to add that everyone on main street West Burlap, Kansas will be required to pay for the balls and to insure that there is no cheating a regulator. called the Ball Czar will be appointed…no worries though the Ball Czar will be paid an unknown amount out of an unknown account.

  • Everyone here would agree to ban cars. I’ve never gotten blindsided in my truck but I bet that would hurt. Duh!. I can’t believe the misinfo in this stream. Helmets have been plastic for years. A soft helmet was tried. It captures the other helmet for the split second necessary to fx the C spine. A “blind side” just means you are looking upfield at the runner (usually) and from an unpredictable angel you get hit. Most bad injuries come from DB’s and receivers being hit after the catch. DB’s get it the most. They are trying to separate the receiver from the ball.
I played 20 yrs. Ten in USA and Ten Rugby…then 20 in athletic training. Our footy is much more violent especially to the spine.
Rule changes have helped. I was taught to put my face mask between the numbers of a jersey when tackling or blocking. Not anymore. We were allowed double team blocking and cross body blocks (hard on knees). In high school we pulled a kids helmet all the time. Sure coaches still talk about “Ha Ha he just got his bell rung.” But nobody pushes a kid more than the parents. PLEASE parents make sure the helmut fits…especially in the younger ages. (Those weapons cost ~$300).
Rugby doesn’t need all this but there are still lots of injuries.
The battle of Waterloo was won on the playing fields of Eton. You will not take away a young boys desire to run through a wall with and for dad.

  • This is a good time to write about the limits of Am. #2. These comments might reflect conversations in our country about the time the Bill of Rights were added. Shout we be able to own automatic weapons? How about suppressors? Can a crazy man carry? When should a kid be able to carry?
I am not trying to challenge #2 but all of the above can be handled by an aggressive, interested, motivated local populace.
I just went down to my neighbors and stopped their 14 yr old from plinking ‘cuz an occasional 22LR went spinning over our house. Am I against him learning about guns? No. (I guess I am glad he is not blind…joke)
We must be vigilant not just rely on the Bill of Rights. They have not done well for us. In the same vein I am not for term limits. Think about it…we have term limits. Just vote’em out.
I am pretty sure Paul understands this edge. Do you?

  • To ICanComment. We had a similar experience. The PCA has many loving people but it tends to be PC in its leadership. Read the TWO KINGDOM book if you want to find out why.
Please folks do not classify all Presbyterians in this same category. And do join a church…that is a biblical idea. Some of us just have “Presbyterianopia”… that is, seeing the world through the eyes of a Presbyterian.

  • Those that want to get rid of the 18 wheelers just don’t get it. Check out the rail map. Most small towns aren’t on a rail. So would we drive to the railhead (like in the 1880′s). Or perhaps we could float me groceries up the irrigation ditch to my house (couldn’t use diesel power. This gold cart concept will work in the cities but will not go up Vail pass with 30 tons of potato chips. I guess we could all go into the cities and suck the GOV teat. Grow up.
Oh yes and read Romans 8:28

  • Only one thread has meaning here. If you don’t help get out the vote you are a Sunshine Patriot and deny the deaths of thousands of vets. It is time to act. Only 60 -70% vote now. What is your job? Am I preaching to the choir? Get out and get the vote going. Vandersloot can donate…so can you. Drive your neighbor down to register. I am for Paul. but

  • Ohhh! If I can only get enough free will to choose God then He’ll be happy….’cuz He wants me to choose Him. NO. He choose us before the beginning of the world. You make talk about free will but the Bible says free Grace. Thank God He chooses you because you have no ability to choose Him…You will always choose sin. That is what the Reformation was about. Solo scriptura. Romans 8:28…please read all of it.
