  I don’t dislike Joel- but this is taking it too far IMO. It’s a reflection of why we are in the shape we are as a country. You cannot stay “in the middle” on every issue, afraid to make some mad because they’ll leave your church or speak against you publicly. In the end, however, he is accountable to God for what he taught- which is a big deal, especially if you led people astray.
  Here is the passage I thought of in response to his calling everyone a Christian- actions speak louder than words- not labels, deeds! That is how we know what a person is-

  Dear friends, do you think you’ll get anywhere in this if you learn all the right words but never do anything? Does merely talking about faith indicate that a person really has it? For instance, you come upon an old friend dressed in rags and half-starved and say, “Good morning, friend! Be clothed in Christ! Be filled with the Holy Spirit!” and walk off without providing so much as a coat or a cup of soup—where does that get you? Isn’t it obvious that God-talk without God-acts is outrageous nonsense? I can already hear one of you agreeing by saying, “Sounds good. You take care of the faith department, I’ll handle the works department.”
  Not so fast. You can no more show me your works apart from your faith than I can show you my faith apart from my works. Faith and works, works and faith, fit together hand in glove. Do I hear you professing to believe in the one and only God, but then observe you complacently

  We will see- I agree- He’s just “speaking” empty words. The Jewish people must see through this. Bibi is no fool.

  I’m with Israel- it belongs to the Jewish people- end of story. God doesn’t break His promises. He gave it to them and He will have to come back and settle it once and for all, Himself. They won’t like that! :-)
