  • I have to agree with the SEALS. There was only one option both politically, if Obama wanted a chance of a second term and operationally. There was only one way to be 100% certain who was in the compound and that his existence was terminated. That was too put boots on the ground. IT WASN’T A COURAGEOUS OPTION. IT WAS THE ONLY OPTION.

  • Pretty good analysis. Same thing was with Clinton. Hillary wasn’t controllable so, she had to go. How it was done is something worthy of a thriller and a chilling view of how politics and people can be manipulated.

  • Sounds to me like Farrakhan is already making an alibi for something that he has already sanction to do. Put together all that he has said and what has happened so far. He said he’d kill anyone that speaks against Islam. Growing up Muslim and turning Christian IS the same. He has already said that Obama is a traitor, strike two. Obama sanctioned the killing of his friend Qaddafi, strike three. Obama has ordered, correction agreed with the killing of Bin Laden, double play. And commands the military that has killed Muslims, it ain’t looking good at all folks. Remember what he recently said about the death of Malcolm X? So, if the Tea Party has already got a Muslim to assassinate Obama, why would he keep that to himself unless, he is the one who sanctioned the Muslim. And why would a Muslim cooperate with the Tea Party? I am willing to wager a weeks salary Farrakhan‘s speech wasn’t prophesy but an excuse, if not a threat before the fact. OH, did I mention Farrakhan has a trained “security” force?

  • Nope, just Tdude

  • Amazing….

No one saying white people are animals, or they don’t know how to behave in society or any other kind of disparaging remarks about a race. The individuals involved were blamed. Funny how that works…

  • Reading this thread, I’d imagine the only crime ever committed is by blacks in this nation.

@OMGFOLKS – Are you saying that white people don’t seek free goverment money and entitlements which strain the nations debt limits nor, commit violence and hatred facilitatedagainst themselves but other races too and shows ignorance and the lack of compassion for the human race as a whole? Take a look at a newspaper and read a bit about history.
And for the restaurant manager, I imagine after seeing people served that came in after I did (from the waiters/waitresses fighting over who will serve them) I wouldn’t tip well either, if I tipped at all.
May I remind those who point out the black panthers… The first well known hate group in the US is the KKK?

Folks spend so much time looking over the fence at someone elses mess don’t seem to notice their own. Acts are committed by individuals or groups of individuals, for their own reason. To lump it under a skin color is ignorant and disingenuous.

  • Just too bad I don’t go back and proof read before I post!

  • Hmmmm. Seems like the President forgot that the Supreme Court Justices aren’t elected for a reason. And, if they find the law unconstitutional then they are doing their job according to the Constitution. The decision isn’t supposed to based on politics but on the interpretation of the Constitution. As a man who has sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution, then he should be the first to understand this isn’t judicial activism. Judicial activism is when a judge reverses a decision the majority vote that was put to ballot fairly and lawfully put to ballot. Even worse is that the judge fails recuse him/herself for having a personal interest in the outcome. In short… The Presidents statement is a poorly disguised political lie for the uninformed or who doesn’t care whether he lies or not.

  • Thanks Sergeant Major for your post on 13 Mar. You said what many of us should have said, including myself.

    I Salute you.

  • When you consider the number of troops that have served in Afghanistan and throughout the world and the number of incidents that have occurred, then the term generally seems to be out of place. There will always be internal problems because people are involved. The two major incidents that are being reported on is the killing of the 13 Afghanistan civilians and the Koran burning. The killingsare the act of one deranged individual. People lose it, it happens everyday. The Koran burning, as I understand, was due to ignorance. Ignorance which was really inexcusable because there were plenty of Muslim around to ask on how to properly dispose of the Koran. But still, this was an isolated incident. The CIC should have quantified his use of the word “generally”, that way it would leave no question or negative connotation of what he meant. It certainly gives anyone looking for more reasons to kill American troops more encouragement because their commander just implied (whether on purpose or not) that generally the troops are bad when actually they are generally good.
