  • I’m not sure how to get hold of about 3 dozen skunks, but if you released them into these crowds, the people would disperse very quickly. I think it’s time we look into this. Furthermore, if they get loud or unruly, it ensures the skunk will get scared and spray. What justice. A little stink for all of these stinkers.

You think I’m kidding, but I am not. We must find some skunks before school breaks for the summer and all of these people show up to hang out until further notice.

  • Glen is right, “We are all Catholic Now.” Now it is a mandate to a faith group, to stamp out social service outside of the almighty government. What’s next? Public education is teaching homosexuality, promiscuous sex. They are tampering with marriage. I don’t know what is going on in military barracks. Next it will be guns, and Romney is not firm on his convictions. Some things are non-negotiable.
As stated by Dr. Thomas Sowell, “If we don’t get this election right we can kiss our constitution good bye.” Surely we don’t want our legacy to be, “The generation that sat on the hands while America’s liberty was destroyed.” People are dying all over the world for freedom.
The question is, do we have the gumption to stand up for our families, our faith and our country and form an army of volunteers to properly equip our nominees? We MUST get a nominees that are strong on “Freedom of Religion/ and Life.” (Santorum/ Gingrich) If we don’t get those two right, we cannot expect our Lord to get behind us. Let’s back them both; let’s pray like the dickens; and may the best man win.
    1. Please contact to your Pastors, Ministers, Rabbis, as well as college and university campus faith Groups this week and get it into the bulletin ASAP. Don’t forget seminaries. Put out URGENT calls to ALL to get involved in the “FREEDOM FIGHTERS 2012 CAMPAIGN.” In WWII, there were 18 people supplying every soldier with what they needed in the fro

  • JZS; Under Obama’s insurance, only the church proper is exempt. The exemption does NOT extend to their seminaries, religious convents, monistaries, hospitals, orphanages, K-12 schools, or universities. Obama’s mandate does exempt countless workers unions as well as Muslims, self-employed or otherwise.
JUST TO BE CLEAR: The Catholic Church will never compromise its’ stance on contraception which is explained below in ‘WHY NOT.’ While I don’t accept the 98 or 99 rate of non-compliance as suggested by Pelosi and media, God grants choice, and the church supports his design not to interfere. However, within the limits of its’ membership, it TEACHES and thus PROPOSES that the only way to prevent conception without creating needless risk for serious bodily harm to women and children is Natural Family Planning.” IMPOSING” dishonors God’s gift of freedom of choose ‘him’ and thereby diminishes the opportunity for grace and excludes the opporutnity for the direct participation within the marriage; which could explain why married couples using NFP are blessed with lasting marriages that have a 97% success rate as opposed to 50% rate for the population at large.
Not only is it SAFE, statistics show close to a 7% “failure” rate for oral contraceptive drugs and a 15% “failure” rate for condoms. In contrast, NFP that many critics claim is not effective has a failure rate of 2%. User effectiveness shows a negligible difference, showing a 96.8% rating f

I don’t see how to rate the various questions, but I find it curious that one one would be so arrogant as to have an opinion regarding the marital status of priests. These men go into the profession with their eyes wide open, fully aware of the challenges that they will face. There have been times in the past when priests did marry. For that matter, the Eastern Rite and other Catholic Rites continue to marry. If and when the time is right, I would think the men in Rome that occupy the role would be allowed to make that determination for themselves.

I don’t mean to diminish their sacrifice, but people fail to realize these men are happy and fulfilled, not my their own efforts but becasue of the great gift they offer God. He recipricates with oceans of grace.

If you want to ask a question, ask wives of clergymen if they ever get tired of sharing their spouses. Ask children and wives of clergymen if they get tired of taking the back seat to other crises within the church community. Regardless of how they are loved, they have a lot in commone with a machanic’s car; they are apt to be the last to get needed attention.

  • Why does ‘HE’ get to set the agenda? We are in charge and it is time we act like it.

What about the crises in Iran. The USA has over 100k troops over there. An air carrier will be there by the end of the week. Russia sounds like they will side with Iran and Syria. China might do the same. Do we want to get into another war? Maybe so, but it needs to be our choice not his.

  • What to do when your record sucks….. 101

Distract: Create a fracas that does not contain any substance that could result in a meaningful discussion of your record. The argument should be over what is perceived as a fundamental ‘right.’

Refocus: Bingo! Sex……. Everyone‘s ’right’ to copulate with anyone, anywhere, anytime. Make them believe that is the opponent gets in; there will be ‘no sex in the land.’

Create lasting Chaos: Pick a fight. Poke Catholics bishops where it hurts, the “deposit of faith”
entrusted to them by the apostles since Roman times. Obama was confident he could count on a fight that will drag out. I wonder why he wants to close the deal by August.

Discredit: Ask questions in a public debate to plant the seeds of doubt. Fan the flames for a candidate that clearly practices what the CC teaches and suddenly Santorum is in the lead. I don’t even know if we can believe the polls anymore.

Undermine: Undermine the credibility of your opponent by getting random people to make snide comments like,‘ I never thought we’d go ‘THIS’ far backwards.’

Divide and Lift: Get people arguing about healthcare (elective drugs and procedures) for ‘women’
rather than freedom of religion? Make each group think they are giving up something, paying for something, losing something for the sake of the other. Make your side appear more sophisticated, enlightened, and modern.

Sounds like a text book diversionary tacti

  • Insurance is intended to cover treatment for illness. However, ovulation and pregnancy is not an illenss. Why do they keep calling this ‘healthcare?’ At best, this is elective health services unless the mother’s life is in jeopardy. The services in question may be desirable to the majority of people, like a tummy tuck, hair transplants, or a face lift. That does not mean than others should pick up the bill for it. This is espically true when you consider that some of these ‘health services’ are lethal to one of the parties invovled.

  • I hope this young man soon learn, he doesn’t religion, he and many others hates what they wrongly understand to be religion. Most of us are born into a religious denomination and are commonly taught to be anti-other. We come into contact individuals that can either drive home our inherited beliefs or cause us to reshape or redefine our beliefs. The problem with all of it, we have gone to over 35,000 flavors because somebody said, ‘I can do this better.’ Saddest of all, we commonly observe others who claim to know God that are self-serving hypocrites.
Certainly, it is reasonable, to say, ‘Enough it should not be that complicated. I can do this better on my own, in my own time, and I don’t have to go sit somewhere.’ Nonetheless, mankind’s universal first and foremost responsibility, before family, work, friends, etc is to seek God’s truth. Because he is an infinite God, and we are not, this is a daunting task and it is also reasonable to recognize that without this lifelong pursuit we are sliding backwards.
I recommend that everyone to grow up and do you OWN research. Remember one simple, common sense fact, just like all ice cream starts with milk, all 35k flavors of Christian religions have ‘some’ truth in them. Next, the Holy Bible, while divinely inspired, was not complied for several hundred years after the death of Jesus. Therefore it is also reasonable to ask, what were Christians doing during that time? Look to see what people said ou

  • Caleb-Texas you are so right, there is a very clear bias against Catholics at the Blaze and to a degree on GB TV, and you are right again when you quoted Fulton Sheen, noting that there may be as many as a 100 who dislike Catholicism, but millions how hate what they wrongly perceive Catholicism to be.\
To paraphrase Marcus Grodi, “To be deep in church history is to be deep into the Catholic Church.’ If fellow Christians/non-Christians and even X-Catholics took the time to engage in a comprehensive study in church history, while invoking the Lord’s guidance to seek and understand the truth in order to form beliefs based on facts rather than misunderstandings, hear-say or childhood perceptions, I’m confident all bias would disappear.
So, I challenge anyone who thinks they’re fully informed about the Catholic faith, to take a closer look before they make up their minds.
