  • On Eve of the Grammys, Whitney Houston Dies at Age 48

    February 12, 2012 at 2:12pm

    In reply to blackstone22.

Drugs weren’t responsible… poor character and lack of responsibility for her own actions is what we can blame this on.

  • How does Houston’s death rate any more coverage by the MSM and Alternative Media than any other American??? Our soldiers are dying in battle, during police actions (overseas), at their own hands (epidemic rate of suicide) and in some cases, murder by friendly fire to keep them from exposing the illegal and immoral efforts of our own intelligence community and defense departments. Meanwhile we have presidential candidates (as well as other political players and the A$$-in-chief and his cronies, political and capitalist) practically salivating at the prospect of moving forward in other wars! God help us as we have hit bottom. Is her death sad? All deaths are sad on some level… But giving a moment to moment, play by play running commentary on Houston’s passing is another example of why the media, regardless of source, is soooo distrusted by soooo many.

  • @ Icnivad… I‘ll skulk when you can prove this isn’t what has and is happening in the U.S. Go ahead… Come up with an intelligent argument explaining how our monetary system hasn’t been trashed by weak politicians (started in it’s current form in 1913) and how they politicians have robbed us of our rights with BS legislation like the Patriot act (where the TSA/Homeland Security was created) as well as the NDAA that provides for indefinite detention of Americans without any due process of law (passed by both repubs as well as dems) and the American Citizenry started to wake with the birth of the Tea Party yet the repubs have co-opted and diminished any power they might have grasped initially. Today Americans, both right and left, sit on their hands while burying their heads (quite a physical feat to be sure) in the sand and do very little to change the path we’re on… Sadly, the repubs (except for one) argue at debates over whose version of big government should replace the Dems version of Obummer’s big government. So please, enlighten us all with your wisdom on how a bunch of seemingly weak widdle wabbits have pushed Americans down a horrible path of destruction.

  • golly, why is this news?.. It’s what the politicians, both repubs and dems, (seemingly weak little rabbits) have done to the American citizenry (frightened mindless sheepeople) for perhaps a hundred years or so now. The real story is how the news media, liberals and the neo-cons use everything from something as benign as weather cycles and monetary policy to the imagined threat of terrorism and horrid fiscal policy to herd us down a path where we lose our rights and beg the government to save us from ourselves while being led to a slaughter.
Or perhaps this is a cute widdle tale about a bunny wabbit with mad skills…

    You decide Sheepeople.

  • Even more important perhaps is the Hyundai and Kia models all have a far better warranty than any *** or American models (10year/100,000 engine & powertrain and 5yr/60,000 bumper to bumper) and the residual values go from 50% (more or less) up to 64% after 36 months on some models!

  • Is it just me or does anyone else find it interesting that Ron Paul made no questionable fact statements?… He just looks better all the time! LOL

  • Not that I’m against Bachman… or for Pawlenty for that matter, but didn’t M. Bachman vote to keep the (very-UN)Patriot act in force? And did she not supprt N. Pelosi on several occasions including the Stimulus bill that sent billions to bankers, foreign as well as Wall Street and did nothing for the average Tea Party type folks? Seriously, her record is limited to about 6 years in congress and please post all her major accomplishments. LOve to see them. Before that she was a Tax Attorney for the IRS??? That fact alone frightens me! I encourage folks to look deeper than a “Firebrand” personality… Look at what the candidates have stood for in the past. They say Leopards don’t change their spots… Obama didn‘t and Bush Didn’t. Both worked towards a “New World Order” agenda. So when Pawlenty made that comment it was kinder than what he might’ve said about her.

  • @nomercy63 … That kind of attitude and the practice of it as well as the establishment of the hundreds of military bases in the middle east and elsewhere around the world is why the idiot muslims have and will continue to attack the USA. Sure they want sharia law everywhere and to rule the globe, but I think we have handed them the greatest radical recruitment tool ever by keeping an unwanted military presence in their corner of the world and the meddling of the US (CIA and other covert operatoions) in their business.

  • @blazingaway… You must be one of those folks that thinks we need to make like pinky and the brain,,, and take over the world (although that does seem to be the kind of thinking where most of the radical Muslim blowback comes from)… While I’m not happy about this chain of events… I’d be OK with it if we would take the same approach with the idiot illegals that get in trouble here… Like all the illegals want us to think this is the kind of treatment they get here… instead of all the wonderful benefits of being illegal in the good ole’ USA . But ultimately, I think he should have let US mechanics make some money here, and not EVER have crossed the border. Outsourcing seems to be everywhere and effects us all in ways we never could have imagined.

  • @ PAINESMAN… I agree… I’d love to know more about H.Cain’s role and commitment to the federal reserve, but strangely there seems to be a dearth of “real” non-wikipedia sources of info on it out there in cyberland. So please, feel free to give this type of info and the links to prove and educate those that aren’t onboard the Herman Cain train!
