  • It doesn’t do much good to know about the 17% auto-gratuity up front because you only have an issue with it AFTER receiving lousy service.

  • I get email jokes from women in my office almost every day that I could claim are sexually offensive, inappropriate and harassment. I bet most all of us who work in an office environment could say this. What we have going on with these Cain women, are opportunists who know their ticket to the good life is through the abuse of our overly sensitive, politically correct system. The media is simply piling on anything they can find to slander Herman Cain’s good name. We’ve seen this exact same media completely ignore much more serious charges of Democrats, repeatedly.

  • You’re right, my numbers were off. But I can’t guess at which deductions different people will have. I can say, a reduction of income taxes from the 25-28% most of us pay down to Cain’s 9% is a big improvement. I can say, stopping the $Billions wasted by the IRS trying to police our income is a good thing. I can say, because Cain would remove the 15% Capital Gains and instead charge a 9% sales tax will encourage people to save and invest their money.

  • @420 Patriot – you clearly don’t understand the 9-9-9 plan or the current tax code. Right now, if you have a job, you are paying payroll taxes and income taxes. If you have any money invested in the market or 401K or both, you will pay capital gains taxes – 15%!

If you are middle class, making $60k a year, you pay 25% income tax. That is $15 THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! just in income tax. Cain’s 9-9-9 would reduce that to $5400. You save nearly $10,000 a year!

In addition, under 9-9-9 you and your employer would no longer be paying payroll taxes like Social Security tax and Medicare tax. You currently pay 14% for these. Under 9-9-9 they are gone. You save another $8 THOUSAND dolllars!!!

On top of all this, the IRS would be basically gone. The Federal governemtn would stop spending BILLIONS every year auditing you and your employer.

But you think it’s a bad idea because, after you pocket an extra $18 THOUSAND dollars of your $60k salary up front, you will have to pay a 9% sales tax on things you buy? Things you have the freedom of choice to spend your money on? You’d rather have the government keep your $18k every year and spend it on the IRS and Solyndra? Wake UP!!!

  • What? Gov’t account of the Bin Laden raid might not be 100% factual? No way! I cannot believe that gov’t officials would ever be less than truthful when telling a story about a top secret mission.

  • It’s not the end of the world. Just the end of Greece, as we know it. and it will put a dent in the Euro economy. and indirectly put a dent in global companies who get some of their revenue from Europe. My bet, a month from now this will be last months news.

  • @will4freedom – Cain stance on the Federal reserve is he has no problems with auditing the Fed. His concern, first and foremost, is to eliminate the tax code, the IRS and reduce the size/burden of government. No President could simply banish the Fed Reserve. It will be a lengthy process to change the monetary policy. Like Obama spending his first 2 years getting Obamacare, changing monetary policy would take all of the 4 years. Cain wants to get the economy back on track and reduce government spending first.

  • These Libs are more USEFUL to the ESTABLISHMENT than Lenin ever dreamed! At least in the previous Marxist/Communist revolutions, there was an actual struggle to survive. In this one going on here, the struggle is to get a nicer car, a bigger home, free education/health care and other neat STUFF without any expectation of work or personal toil.

Isn’t it funny that the LIBS are fighting against the 1%, so that Socialism/Communism can hand control to the 1%, by eroding the one thing that keeps the establishment wolves at bay, the Constitution. Useful idiots indeed.

  • Your are so right! Obama is the black Jimmy Carter, only with way more funding from Wall Street and Big Banks than Carter ever had!!! Cain is following Reagan’s principles. Also, He is operating his campaign on a shoe-string budget. Yet he leads the polls!!! What does that tell ya? He’s for real, that’s what!!! His popularity isn’t being paid for by Millionaires and Billlionaires. He is grass roots all the way!!!

  • Just like everything else going on in America, smoking is a Big Gov’t (collective) vs. Individual Rights (freedom) issue. I don‘t smoke and I don’t like the smell of smoke. But I don’t need my tax dollars to be confiscated by the FED GOVT to legislate and regulate smoking. If I go into a restaurant that is full of smoke, I leave and I don’t go back. That is free market freedom at work. At the same time, if a smoker goes into that restaurant and is welcomed as a smoker, then they probably go back again and again spending their money there. We don‘t need gov’t sticking its big fat nose into every facet of life.

Romney will cave to the liberal establishment, he has before. Herman Cain is the real deal. He and Ron Paul are the only two candidates with the courage and backbone to change the system. Cain is more of an optimist with more executive experience than Paul. Therefore Cain is the best candidate. But pleeeease don’t put your faith in Romney.
