  • I grew up in SW Kansas and West Texas in the ‘50’s and early ‘60’s, these storms were the ones that hit all the time. I know that the earlier residents of AZ saw the same back then!!! It was hell for a day or 2, but we shook the dust and went bout our business!!! Miss ‘em but don’t want ‘em anymore!!!!!

  • I see that a lot of comments have mentioned the 1911 and shotguns. I like to use both, the shotgun as the first for home defense and the 1911 as last resort. No. 4 buck and 20” barrel Rem. 870, No 4 buck 4 the reason of 27 lead pellets in the intruder face, instead of 11 in a 3″ shell, better coverage. The 1911A1 by Kimber is awesum. I had a chance to get a Paraordnance frame that gave the 1911 13 rounds, 1/8 wider than the regular 1911 frame. Guy took of the market and I can’t find another yet.

  • John 3:16, I argee on the shot gun. I used a Win ‘97, #4 buck(27 lead pellets in the NVA asses) & brass shells in the paddies along w/M14 in the ‘70’s. A good bush cleaner and no ? asked after the subject was faced w/the 12 ga tube.
