  • In any other civilized country in the world, people would be mostly agreeing with the protester. Glad to see Conservatives here in America, Greatest Country in the World(tm), stick with some over used right wing talking points over actual logic.

  • Gotta love some of the comments on this story. Out of all the stories on this site, I thought this would be one most people could see eye to eye on. All of you complaining about how the state gov’t apologized should actually read the story instead of just the headline next time. As to the others complaining about race, shame on you. Alabama sixty decades ago was definitely a place of racial injustice as pointed out in this story. Stop trying to politicize this terrible story.

  • How pro-life of you to suggest California get hit with a 9.5 magnitude earthquake which would likely kill thousands of people. Oh wait, I guess it’s okay because they have a different opinion than you.

You should probably read the story. The cancer had a 85-90% cure rate with meds; the state‘s case is that since the mother didn’t give her child the meds, she led to his death.

It appears that you didn’t answer my second question, at least I couldn’t find the answer in that indiscernible wall of text. You bring in stuff about global warming and atheism and they weren’t even related to the topic at hand. If you could keep your argument consistent and clear I’d be happy to continue this little debate but as it is, you can’t answer a simple question.

So you openly admit that conservatives don’t believe freedom of religion is in our constitution? That‘s the only thing that I can gather from you using the term ’new constitution.’ Also your use of the term cult to describe a world wide religion is pretty indicative. I could say the same about Christianity and Catholicism, but I won’t because I understand people have the right to believe what they want.

My overall point being that you can disagree with the teachings of their religion, but to refer to it as a cult just makes you come off as a bigot. Again, what happened to freedom of religion and love thy neighbor?

  • The only good thing that would come form electing Donald Trump would be the hastened downfall of America. I honestly cannot believe people would actually vote for him, he’s nothing more than a conservative mouth piece. As to some of the other comments, what happened to following our Constitution? Pretty sure we have something in there about freedom of religion. Also how many of you have read the Koran to judge it, and subsequently, Islam?

  • But it’s okay for Christians to push their beliefs onto other groups, be they atheists, Muslim, etc.? Another hypocritical Regressive who doesn’t follow the Constitution.

  • What happened to regressives/tea partiers wanting to follow the Constitution fully? I’m no constitutional lawyer/expert, but I‘m pretty sure there’s something in there about freedom of speech, press, and assembly. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
