  • That’s awesome. Half plant, half animal. Classic retort. The fossil record is a little shy on that stuff.

  • Evolution? as in man grew out of snails and monkeys? If we weren’t put upon to believe such nonsense we could get to the business of being human i.e. exploring for what some have called the “God Particle.” If you knew how we came to be having this experience…well by reading your stabs at logic that’s not a possibility right now. And who is to say who knows. We are fairly finite in our capabilities. The one think I see in your moniker that couldn’t possibly be true is your call yourself a Thinker. Well I guest that’s not going to change since the Peter Principle is in effect. All the best.

  • This ought not be a discuss of believers in God and deniers. We should be focus on free people and those who want to tell others what to believe and do. Personally ridicule doesn’t effect me but there are those it does and they are needlessly attached by the Sinkers. That’s who we should be discussing.

  • As a person’s ability to perceive and conceive expanse they will come to understand God is not a person, who wants something from you. All except for the consequences to your actions you are already off the hook.

  • The hardness of the rock in your hand is a perception just like everything else.

  • God is not person. Without an eternal and creative source life and anything one might say is meaningless. Because so things are profoundly meaningful we have a foundation for greater things I.e. God

  • In 1895 there was the panic of “the coming Ice Age.” The 20s had an Ice Age scare, The 30s had a global warming scare. You mentioned the 70s Ice Age scare and then the 90s to present global warming scare (or is it an Ice Age scare?). To read about it Google “FireAndIce.pdf” It from the Business and Media Institute.

When you know history you won’t fall for the manipulation of the Sinker mentality.

  • Many dogmas are about controlling people whether for power or their “own good.” We ought to be allowed to fail. It is the only way we will learn. Rising beyond one’s level of incompetence can cause friction. These are those who seek to manipulate and those who are easily manipulated. Having a conversation with them is potentially difficult, dangerous, and fruitless. But we still try. All the best. DM

  • The concept of a Creative Source, that thing people call God, must be Infinite. And we with our finite ability to fathom all what is entailed in the infinite have statistically zero understanding of God yet we know there is something greater than the self, meaning beyond words. For beings so limited I think we’re doing okay, though more acceptance is in order.

  • This is to everyone except “BeckIsNuts.”

Life has meaning. That is proof of the Infinite Source of our creation. God is not a person. God does not want anything from you. (God having want, how absurd would that be?) But there are consequences to everything.

There is life after death. That is proof of the Infinite Source of our creation. If one believes otherwise this life would be meaningless and anything said on any subject would be equally meaningless.

The point is to express your loving heart. To do this judgment must be avoided.

The so called “God Particle” is mostly for entertainment and to soothe.

Our best efforts would be most beneficial in focusing on building an uplifted world and not engaged on tearing down love and others.

I’ve read, “Thinkers and Sinkers.“ Amazing clarification of the destructive mindset like this ”BeckIsNuts” person.
