New Poll Shows Wis. Gov. Walker Ahead in Recall Election 50-42 — But Guess What It Says About Obama
May 24, 2012 at 11:36am
I had never even hard of the Koch brothers until the left started blaming them for everything. So I am going to go out on a limb here and say they don’t really influence how I think or feel.

If my kids went to this school it would be over my dead body. Which is probably just what these admins would like.
Did You Know Twitter Won‘t Allow Tweets That Start With the Word ’Get’?
May 24, 2012 at 9:58am
Dear Blaze, did we magically transport back to APRIL FIRST? I just tweeted, “Get real! Twitter wont allow Tweets that start with the word GET?” and it went just fine. Do you need a screen shot? ;)
‘Fiscal Cliff’: CBO Predicts Recession in 2013 Unless Serious Action Taken
May 23, 2012 at 5:40pm
They aren’t very bright–or they cling to the idea that something MAGICAL is going to happen and change the course we have been on for years (and years). Our economy, like many others in the world, is currently being propped up with bad math and fairy dust.

I almost don’t blame them. So many of their women are ugly, into other women, or both.
Budget Woes: New York School District Considers Eliminating Kindergarten
May 23, 2012 at 10:21am
I put my oldest child (who is now 6) in K because I had young twins at home, and let me tell you I vowed after that to homeschool. First of all, it was actually MORE work for the parent. All busy work. Hours of homework a week. 1/2 K at our school in NV was a joke. It started 25 min after regular school started if you had it in the morning, or ended 25 min early if you have afternoon K. All they do is worksheets, and they still have recess. With all the getting up and getting kids seated again I can’t even fathom how they expect to get anything done.
My next child starts K next year. Instead of homeschooling her formally in that we began working on the same principles last year. Since she has those down we are skipping K and starting with the first grade.
‘Like Food Nazis’: Did a Calif. Health Dept. Come to Homes to ‘Confiscate’ Contaminated Raw Milk?

That sounds like us. Cloth diapers, farmers markets, I grow many of my own veggies and in Las Vegas that is a huge pain but so worth it. There are lots of conservatives like us, but I always feel that the hippies are the loudest in the Cloth diaper/organic circles so it feels like we are so outnumbered when we really aren’t.
University of Notre Dame Sues Obama Admin Over Contraceptive Mandate

A little late on the uptake I guess. Couldn’t they see where the country was heading with him? So much for higher education. Better late than never I guess.
