  I watched as the owner of the largest retirement community in Florida (The Villages) stroked a half a million dollar check to the Romney campaign months ago. The thought in my mind was “isn’t that a bit risky to donate that much money this early in the game” until you realize that he is simply the establishment poster boy and the people with real power and influence know that he will be the nominee because they steer the sheep to their candidate. I could just be a conspiracy theorist though, I guess we will see when we have a nomination.
