  • I think a low flat tax with no deductions is fair. Follow the example of God. He is a flat taxer at 10%, no deductions or exemptions, from poorest to richest. He could have supported a progressive system, but did not. So a tithe from everyone must be a fair tax. (we actually collect about 10% of National Income in income taxes)

The non-denominational church I attend, has grown at 30% per year for many years. We are very active in the local community and the world. Our church is incredibly spiritually alive and nourishing. We teach the Bible and follow Jesus . My church just finished drilling wells in every village in the Central African Republic, built a Hospital in Haiti to serve 500,000 people, supports people in the congregation without employment and take care of members without health insurance in need of medical treatment. We always seem to collect more in donations than we budget for. I think people can find alive churches if they look.

  • I attend a non denominational, bible based church which has been growing 30%/yr for over a decade. It is incredibly active in mission work and follows biblical instructions closely. It is the most alive spiritually church I have ever attended. I think the sheep are dividing from the ‘goats’

  • God is a flat tax advocate, no deductions, no exemptions, just a tithe. If he thought a progressive structure with 47% exempt was fair, he could have decreed such. What is wrong and unfair with the government doing the same?

  • There were a few sensible ideas in the 2000+ pages and more sensible ideas left out. All the new structure and new bureaucracy plus the student loan takeover need to be repealed and the sensible ideas put in a drastically shorter, totally tranparent, well vetted bill.
