  Come on Bobby, it’s not about the trillions in debt, or the fact that 50% of the residents of Detroit are functional illiterates, or that our constitution itself is at risk….it’s all about making sure that those damn dead southerners are punished for events of over a century ago…..and making sure that what made us the greatest nation on earth (national unity) is torn to shreds….after all can’t we all just get along?….snicker…

  This is simply a red dress with a blue sash that contains white stars. If, in your mind, you perceive it to be a flag or something else, then that is your perception. Your perception, however, does not give you the right to “ban” something. In a society where Crucifixes are photographed floating in urine as art – funded by federal dollars, where “meat dresses” are worn and celebrated…and mockery can be made of all religious beliefs (with the exception of Islam [they will attempt to kill you] and witchery [the ACLU will sue you]) I find it ludicrous that such a bother is raised over a red dress, with a blue sash with white stars.

  My dear departed grandmother used to say, “If people would spend as much time managing their own affairs, they would have far less to mettle in the affairs of others”. This is the problem, control freaks have won out over common sense.

  I (and those that agree with me) am the sole arbitrators of correct behavior, the rest of you morons shut up and sit down….you vill vear vhat ve say is correct and you vill like it, comrade citizen!! Hiel!!

  And so begins the tightening of the noose of despotism that will require action on the part of citizens to overcome tyranny. Do they actually believe they have the authority, as the federal government, to say that soda pop is an illegal substance during 47 minutes of a school day? Such arrogance!!
  Do not pay the Soda Tax – get a lawyer, parents picket the federal office requiring such malarkey.

  Citizens of Utah, flood the state and federal representatives with protest!

  This must not stand – for next is what you can drink before and after school….and then, you guessed it – cupboard inspectors of all homes with children under the age of 18 for contraband….

  It is indeed time for Patriots to stand up for One Nation Under God…..anyone who says that the Constitution prevents a monument from having a cross on it, on public property is just plain nuts.

  This is exactly what happens when common sense doesn’t prevail. The monument has been there, in that very sport for decades. It has harmed no one and never will, and has more than likely touched the hearts of many and caused them to think of the sacrifice made in thier behalf..

  Stop trying to make this a secular nation. It is not – it is “One Nation, Under God”

  We may be coming to the times that where spoken of liberty being nourished by the blood of patriots and tyrants…..God let it not be so, but if need be then we will do so.

  First, the Doctrine and Covenants IS NOT the Book of Mormon. Second, all politicians pick the statistics they want to use – just because you don’t like the numbers used, doesn’t make them incorrect – or quoting them a “lie”.
