  • You guys need to look into Romney’s record. The NRA made roll calls to all of their members in Massachusetts when Romney ran for governor. They knew he was good, not great, on the 2nd amendment.

    Look at Romney’s Massachusetts Record:
    1. He partnered with GOAL and NRA on all 2nd amendment issues and bills.
    2. They together wrote 8 pro-gun bills that the NRA and GOAL both backed.
    3. They downsized the Mass. Assault Gun Rifle bill with Romney to something that was acceptable. Romney worked with them to change the bill the liberal legislature designed. The NRA then found it acceptable being 70% of the bill was acceptable and made it easier for non-assault rifle gun owners to get guns. You can read all of this on the NRA‘s and GOAL’s homepage.
    4. Grover Norquist who sat or still sits on the board for the NRA said that Romney‘s gun record in Massachusetts was ’flawless’ and that he supported him as a candidate, both for guns and taxes.

That is why Romney has a B. He could be better, that is for sure but a B is acceptable for the NRA.

  • Chris Christie Won’t Quite Rule Out VP Nomination

    In reply to suz.

Christie would be a good fit but not this year. Romney needs a very conservative running mate, either minority or woman… from a political point of view. It will be hard to get two white men passed again.

Romney would be a great President, even on the social issues. He is strong on the social issues.

There is a new youtube that just came out showing that Romney is a Consistent Conservative, especially after his conversion from allowing abortions to be ‘safe and legal’. If you think Romney is a flip-flopper, you have to see the whole story, at least on abortion, here is the YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5tMKWsYWmI&feature=colike

  • He is just another Truther who can’t take the heat.

What would he say if he found out Ron Paul was a Truther?

Oh, I have seen the video, its pretty incriminating. It’s either he completely believes in it or he was completely pandering to one of his supporters.

  • Ron Paul Releases Another Pro-Life Ad

Oh stop complaining, all the Paul supporters believe that their candidate is the only one that has been attacked. Every candidate that has reached the top of the polls have been looked into and vetted. Some have scarier items in their pasts than other, Paul is no exception. Such as:

    1) Calling the Wikileaks spy a patriot.
    2) Demonizing Israel for the blockade, which was set up with Egypt to protect their people.
    3) The fact that he is a truther.

YEAH THAT IS RIGHT, VIDEO CAME OUT TODAY THAT RON PAUL TRULY IS A TRUTHER, OR HE WAS PANDERING TO ONE OF HIS SUPPORTERS.

  • They are not called ‘Ron Paul supporters anymore. They are now called:

‘PAULIES’ AND THEY EAT CRACKERS LIKE DEMOCRATS DRINK KOOL-AID

  • Progress in Massachusetts is Conservative because they would be going the other direction than the loony left.

  • Romney has been proven to be just as consistent as all the other candidates. Way more consistent than Gingrich and perry, and just as much as Ron Paul and Bachmann. Santorum is probably the most consistent.

  • No, it shows he is great with strategy. He knows the left and independents will use that against him and it may hurt his chances of beating Obama. Interesting that candidates usually work on their base in the primary and then flip-flop to gain the independents. Romney set himself up in the middle to win both sides, not having to flip-flop, but be honest to both sides.

This is a strategy that may hurt him with some on the right, but most of those wouldn’t vote for him anyway. This is why the independents are favoring him. Plus Romney has Obama’s record to eviscerate the President and has attacked him un-mercifully. That is why Romney is the only one to get a response from Obama, such as Romney helped Obama reconsider his Hawaii vacation and foreign policy rhetoric.
