  First of all… Mac and Cheese is not a typical Thanksgiving dish for many people. I know that to be a fact. The other interesting fact that for many black and white people it is part of their tradition. Now this of course does not mean that Pat Robertson is racist, out of touch, anti American or anti white. What if Condoleezza Rice was of Italian descent and the question became, “what is this stuffed artichokes, is that an Italian thing”? I suppose for some that would make Pat Robertson anti Italian American. You can’t win with this game.

  Chris Matthews is easy to figure out. His beef with Perry and Texans is all about religion. Chris Matthews and his tingly superhero are embarrassed to be associated with Christians since he views them as “culturally backward” (his bigotry) and who ‘cling to their religion’ (Obama’s worry). There are liberals I am sure who do not find religion as threatening as Chris but I think he correctly identifies the existential threat that Perry’s religion has on his on his unforgiving core belief in secular liberalism.

  Pontiac – For all we know Hudstim may not be very smart but that would not be a crime. Quoting a smart man though does not make you sound intelligent either – in fact you are almost making Bastiat’s point. By the way, I am crazy about “libturd” but “cry baby” and “girly man” just about nails it.
