  This brings to mind Bonhoeffer. It does fall to the Catholics to resist Obama and wake others up to what Obama is really up to. I‘ll be damned before I see what’s his name? James Wallace? Please tell me if the name is wrong- Obama’s “personal spiritual adviser”- or Jeremiah Wright’s church become the National Church.

  I am a Catholic and when Obamacare was snaking its way through Congress, I called my Church and asked what MY Church’s stance was and what the Vatican had to say about it, I was told they were basically against it, but then somehow they got sucked into it. I also asked why the Church didn’t just start their own insurance policy to offer their congregations and other denominations, if they chose to, seeing as the Church has so many hospitals, schools, etc. already, they could exist to serve only those who entered with the understanding of what services would be provided and paid for. My priest had never thought of it, he admitted. I think the Church could be in a unique position to challenge the law, as well. Obama is trying to suppress the power of the American Catholic Church, but the Pope reaches 1.2 billion Catholics worldwide. Now not only will he have 1billion Muslims wanting him gone, but he’ll be contending with another billion that he picked a fight with. Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden need to be excommunicated!

  These people are trying to rewrite history…again. If they cared or if the younger generation knew and the older generation cared, they would not be allowed to do this on MLK day- he was utterly against Muslims. They need to turn to Malcolm X day. Oh that’s right, we don’t have that. Even Malcolm X was changing his opinions on Islam, which got him killed, at least in part. I don’t think you need to be black to be offended, just patriotic. CAIR thinks they’re gonna get sympathy? Not from me. They seek to overtake and abuse people.

  This is another kid looking for their 15 mins, showing her supposed “Daddy Dearest” moment. The only abusive thing the man did was the verbal abuse. I am so tired of hearing the government painting abuse with such a broad brush. If she really wanted to get help for her father, she would have contacted someone much earlier to help her confront him with the film and seek help for the family, especially that little kid that was in the film. This is all about her, and her vendetta. Growing up, everyone I knew was spanked or whatever you want to call it. Now, your own kids tell you that they’ll report you if you lay a hand on them. How backwards has this country become? The government has basically charged us with bearing, housing, feeding and sending them off to be taught what THEY deem fit, then arming them with the right threats to keep their parents in line and they indoctrinate them with the insane sense of entitlement that we are witnessing now. And yet, with all that we, the parents, and the government have given them, a cruise through early life with little or no discipline, every technology at their fingertips, and virtually every demand for other wants met, the next generation knows only anger and vice. They perceive themselves as oppressed when all they really are is over-indulged. It’s not just American history they were never given, but most likely their own family’s history in America.   I just love the way every group has to take a turn in the “stupid chair”. Obama was elected by a majority of just about every demographic out there. Now that the Catholics are finally standing up to his administration, all other “Christians” are doing their part to point out that like the Jews, and everyone else, we were duped by this liar. I am Catholic, and did not vote for the man- I could see he was not to be trusted. At least the Catholics are standing up to him regarding the issues named here, I haven’t heard of any other significant number of any other denomination taking the stance! It seems to me that instead of doing and saying what you can to belittle the Church, you should support it, as it is Christian values they are fighting for!

  This was all so stupid. Roper deserved what he got, and should possibly face worse. He endangered people by turning that motorcycle over- if the cop had lost control of it and it flew into the crowd, what would the left be saying then? It was the cop’s fault for not foreseeing the possibility that some loon would do anything for some airtime? Even to the point of hurting his fellow protesters?

  You may THINK you didn’t choose your lifestyle, but you did. We are blessed with free will. We are all also cursed with a cross to bear throughout our lives. You CHOSE to give into the temptations of the flesh instead of bearing your cross righteously in the sight of God. Some of will deal with drug/alcohol problems, rage, trespasses done to us and what we do to others. We are to put our lives and trust in God, you know in your soul that you were told you would be damned for your desires, but you want the rest of us not only to tolerate your behaviour, you want special treatment and equality in the sight of the Church and God. Quit lying to yourself and everyone else. Read your Bible and draw your strength from there, rather than wasting energy and time trying to justify it!

  Susan Sarandon is just like every other aging celebrity out there i.e. Jane Fonda, saying stupid and outlandish and being offensive and vulgar because they are realizing they are NO LONGER RELEVANT!! Even Gloria Steinem was shown stage left when she attempted a come back a couple of months ago. Sarandon has managed to offend over one billion people- if any of them know or remember her or care what she has to say. I’d really like to see the big push to ban her from any future works, something other than a mundane, insincere apology- she needs to feel her rejection!

  First off, WHEN is that woman going to learn how to dress?

  Second, does she not realize that the abortion procedure was pursued and championed by Margeret Sanger just for Sheila’s “kind”? How much say would black people have in this country without it? Is that a plus or a minus for them? For the rest of us? She should be mourning all the souls of those babies – and potential voters. I know I mourn every baby taken in such a violent and unnecessary manner.

  I’ve never liked Gerry. He’s a fake “elite” and fake “intellectual”. His favorite word is “dastardly”, which he uses constantly, rendering him irritable to my ears. For him to follow Beck with absolutely nothing to back his words up, O‘reilly should’ve shut him up quick, fast, and in a hurry! I just wish one of those protesters would have said “This is for Beck! At least get us right, like he does!”
