  I was very proud to take my 17yo daughter to the polls to vote for her very first time. Of course she voted against Luger. I’ve disliked that guy ever since I moved to Indiana.

  If that was my kid, I would have “given him something to cry about”, as my father would say. Fortunately my own kids learned very young that they had better have a good reason to cry so I never had to deal with them acting like that kid.

  I don’t understand what he is claiming his “mistake” was. Is he claiming he didn’t know that the term “*****” is a disparaging and racist term for Chinese people? Or was his mistake underestimating the reaction to using it in a headline?

  I have no doubt that he knew what a “*****” is, and that he used the term “***** in the Armor” as a clever double entendre. I do think firing him is a bit harsh, but not completely out of line. In fact, I thought it was quite funny. But he HAD to know there would be repercussions. I still feel sorry for the guy. He made a stupid decision, and he paid the harshest possible penalty for it.

  I have a resolution. Have George Soros buy a massive plot of land in the middle of the US where nobody else lives. (Maybe Nebraska) Then they can be self sustaining by raising their own food, and building their own shelter. They would be free to live their lives as they wanted, and they would be left to live in their own utopia. They would truly have a society brought about only by working people building their own self-managed mass organizations. Stalin would be so jealous!

  That’s a good point. And since the edited NBC tape was the only way a reasonable person would have to accuse Zimmerman of racism, NBC is the source for the calls for murder.
