  What is constituting an American “EMPIRE”? Who‘s the supreme ruler of whatever countries you assume we’ve taken over? Iraq? They have a sovereign government. If they want us out, they can show us the door at any time. Afghanistan? Same as Iraq. We, as the leader of the free world, have the obligation to promote freedom and we do. Our President has the obligation to ensure our country is defended and our freedom is preserved.

  Maybe your use of empire was bad terminology.

  Ok…Next those that won’t, don‘t or can’t believe or get over this since it’s been 2+ years the next will be that the micro-filmed version should be presented since that would probably the original since the one presented isn’t. I was born in 1962 and my certified copy with “seal” was the micro-film version. So it‘s safe to say this story really won’t go away; especially with the media…

  I was born in 1962 and when requesting a certified copy I received the micro-filmed version with certifying seal. So those hung up on this issue will say “Let’s see the micro-film version!” It won’t end.

  Apart from the “Hate Crime” this is a case where I can see McDonalds being sued. That store manager, if he was one, and the associates had a moral responsibility to stop that and they could have. The manager should have locked the doors until the police arrived and or had his associates guard the door. There were no weapons seen so acceptable risk should have been taken. Shame on the manager and possibly McDonalds if there are no crisis action plans (varying degrees) for violence in the store.
