  I might add, after looking closer at the picture, that some of these same “atheists” were members of a now almost defunct “Chester County Peace Movement” who rallied on Saturday mornings in protest of George Bush- whoops- in protest of the Wars in Iraq & Afghanistan. They enacted water boardings etc, and called for Bush’ and Cheney to be impeached and other anti-American sentiment. They have slowly disbanded since November of 2008. Currently only a small group of them still come to the rally. Interesting that one’s political views will change everything. Think they have an agenda?
  The only good thing that came of these peace protests,was that in 2006 a counter-protest which became a Pro Troop rally began, and has grown and expanded and continues to stand strong.

  I live here. I had to watch them put this big, lousy looking holiday tree on the corner, no wait, they placed it as close to the nativity scene as possible in a direct attempt to obscure the creche. Then they hang book titles of myriads of anti-religious books on their tree, in lieu of ornaments.
  The town of West Chester PA decks the halls beautifully and gets into the Christmas spirit with a lovely parade and evenings of caroling, and in many people’s opinion, this tree cast a pallor over the whole season.
  They have every right to put this abomination up, at ANY time of year, but choose to sully a Christmas tradition instead. I am grateful to our commissioners and all involved, who have decided to honor the tradition over this obvious attempt to slap Christianity in the face.

  Really? You elitist prog, what do we care of your opinion? The only thing that irks me, is the blatant hypocrisy, here he says that we don’t want THEIR opinions, and ought NOT to be given OUR constitutional rights; all the while admitting he really doesn‘t like our opinions and doesn’t want us to be heard.

  How many times will we see this behavior from these union leftists? Violence, it‘s what’s they do. Thuggery and terrorist tactics, comes naturally when you have no intelligent argument and only brute strength. This guy is typical of what we’ve all experienced from the left- all thug and no thought! My way or the highway, and if I don’t get my way, I will beat you up with my fists, as I have no means to do battle with my wits!
