  Pelon, I’m in a similar boat. I think it is great that they are exploring and hearing, even if they might not be conciously listening or even agree. There are lessons to be learned, regardless of Faith or lackthereof. Get your foot in the door (as with any persuasive argument) instead of “Convert or DIE!”.

  maybe not a “news” tv station; maybe anonymously to the national talk show circuit via Glenn, or somebody. I totally appreciate his sentiment and info, but it seemed kind-of boneheaded to post it on youtube when nearly every A.M. radio-host would jump all over the story.

  It was the high point in the episode. Patterson showed good humor (but he was always an easy target for SNL, and they were always soft with their fun-poking), but they never really came down hard on him. Still, funny segment. It made me realize how well Armisten did the character. Love that they kept the “in-between the camera and Anchors” gag.

  I might have walked away just for the shouting-down. I agree with her, but the shouting does a dis-service to the message. Not saying I could have possibly done any different (I know what it’s like being shouted down by the opposition), just that we need to try to get away from that more often than not.
