  If Ron Paul is not the nominee I might just vote for Obama, not because I agree with him, in fact, I despise him. But like Glenn said in his original show, a frog slowly boiled won’t jump out. With Obama things will happen faster and will be more shocking. With Romney, Obama/Bush’s socialist corporatist policies will still happen but more slowly and more palatable to the ignorant masses. Just like Bush’s TSA, Homeland Security and Patriot act were unquestioned, Romney’s acts to dismantle freedom will go unanswered.

  There really is no difference between Romney and Obama. The only difference is the pace. Both Value the police state over freedom. Both like taxes. The difference in spending is only on what they want to waste tax payer money on. Even then it is negligible. Both are for Bailouts. Both are for Social engineering through government. Romney is the architect of Obamacare. Both are for Subsidies. Both are two faced liars. Any difference between them is superficial. They are both undeniable STATIST.

  Sounds like you are in the wrong country. If you want religious law, there are already countries with that kind of law. Shari’a Law. There you can live free from drugs including alcohol and gay people. Where the government guides your morality. This is what you want.   By your stupid logic we don’t need laws. A judge can simply hold anyone in contempt and put them in jail forever. I can accuse you of murder and then the judge can order you to reveal where the body is. Since you didn’t kill anyone you would be held in contempt of court forever.

  The burden of proof is on the prosecutor not the person being accused. In this case the prosecution has no evidence otherwise it wouldn’t be trying to decrypt anything. In order to hold her in contempt they have to prove her intent to violate the judges order. So they have to prove that she did not forget the password. This order came 2 years after they seized her laptop so it is completely reasonable to forget a password after that time.

  @barber2 So your solution is to arrest everyone in order to get one person because in your mind there are no individuals there are just groups, right? So in your world anyone can infiltrate the tea party burn a car and have all the tea party members arrested. Wow, what a system.

  While we are at it why not just execute everyone and put them in ovens. Who needs to investigate individuals for their crimes when we can just kill everyone in their proximity for what we think they have done. No evidence, no due process.

  Is that right? Is that why I don’t drink, smoke or do drugs. Unlike you statist I don‘t need the nanny state telling me what I can or can’t do with my body. I am for drug legalization on PRINCIPLE. You know that thing you people don’t have.You say you want freedom until your not for it. Making you HYPOCRITES.

  Drug prohibition is the new alcohol prohibition. It only creates problems. If you knew anything about the free market you would know that a restriction on anything creates a black market. The difficulty to get drugs shrinks the supply of drugs and thus increasing the price of drugs making it more lucrative. Lets not forget that taking drugs is a victimless crime and you are having police break into people’s homes and killing their pets over a substance.

  But if you are going to argue that they are dangerous then why not ban alcohol. I’m sure you drink a lot and beat your wife since we are not using baseless assumptions.

  If you are willing to trade freedom for nanny statism why not restrict all dangerous things. Why not make all cars drive on rails and restrict speeds to 15mph. You know it is for your safety. While we are at it why not ban all guns. Who cares about the constitution. Stop free speech too. We can’t have people causing insurrections. Lets establish curfews for all citizens and require itineraries that must be approved by government in order to travel. That will prevent all crime. Right. Security over freedom.

  The police are provoking the protestors with the use of batons, pepper spray and tear gas. On the first days of protest woman were pepper sprayed on provoked when protesting on the sidewalk behind a barricade.

  “You seem to be infected with a serious case of the Arrogance Virus which seem prevalent in the Far Left crowd. Calling people ” morons..neocons..communists..little lemmings..” Your thinking is so muddled, it would be hard to refute your confusing ideas which go out in all directions but never seem to find their way home…”

  It is not that hard to understand. There are two sides of the spectrum. Statist, which includes communist, neocons and morons and those who want freedom like our founding fathers. Newt, Santorum, Romney, Obama all want more government power. They are all STATIST. It doesn’t matter what flavor of statism(ie. Fascist, Socialist, communist) they are. They all think government is the solution to all our problems.

  I am a capitalist, I believe in freedom. If I want security I can hire security or use my second amendment right. I don’t need government in my life to violate my liberty. I want to opt out of medicare, medicaid and social security and not pay taxes for these ponzi schemes. I don’t want Fascist like Santorum censoring free speech or moonbats like newt taking my money to build moon bases. Are we clear as to where I stand.
