Dalai Lama to Chinese Students: ‘I’m a Marxist’
June 10, 2011 at 3:53pm
This seems a little harsh… To wish harm on anyone is probably out of line, but to put a thought like “I hope the Dalai Lama drowns in a sewer” (which is what I think you were trying to say) out in the Universe is just wrong.
Conservatives are “better” precisely because we don’t need to eradicate people to defeat ideas, unlike the political Left.
I think the Dalai Lama is misguided, but as an individual and human being he is a force for good. We can debate the merits of social policy with men like him. We don’t need to go to the gutter simply because he deserves better than that. He’s earned better treatment than that.
Ohio Restaurant Closes One Week After Obama Mentions it in Speech
June 9, 2011 at 2:40pm
That would be LOL funny if it didn’t reflect the tragic reality we face. Election 2012 will decide more than any vote since the Constitution was ratified, and I firmly believe that. If BHO is reelected, the country’s first black President will be the last American President.
Fed. Gov‘t SWAT Team Busts Down Man’s Door Over Estranged Wife’s Student Loans
June 9, 2011 at 11:22am
I just wanted to clear something up that may be freaking some people out… This story from the Blaze quotes “News 10”:
“The U.S. Department of Education issued the search and called in the S.W.A.T for his wife’s defaulted student loans.”
News 10 erred in their initial reporting. News 10 has a follow-up story with a link to the search warrant, given to them by the attorney of Kenneth Wright. The warrant was issued by Gregory G. Hollows, U.S. Magistrate Judge on June 3.
The warrant WAS NOT issued by the Department of Education.
That being said, this story is ridiculous and it‘s further evidence of how the government is consumed by it’s own interests. Government is so far out of control it has all but abandoned it‘s original purposes and now exists to impose it’s will. I think we will see more and more conflict and confrontation over the now competing interests of the People and Government.
