  DEAVONREYE, I would have no problem having other religious references posted at my Childs school; that is the essence of freedom of speech, all speech is protected. We as Christians have no more right to limit other religions’ speech than they do to limit ours. Limiting religious speech will only weaken or nation.

  Rick has said some pretty crazy stuff if you look at them in the closed context of the comment, but if you look at what he was trying to say it makes perfect sense. JFK said that there is an absolute wall between church and state which is just wrong. To say that religious views should be kept out of the public debate is not what the founders had in mind when the First Amendment was written.; for example Martin Luther King and the civil rights movement, slavery was opposed by the churches, and a driving force of the revolution and the founders was the desire of a freedom of religion.
