  I as an African-American male don’t see the need for this. When I asked my black friends about this they overwhelmingly felt the same way. Most have a wait and see attitude concerning the Zimmerman/Martin case. But you folk seem to think that all Blacks are thugs. Its simply not true. I am the seventh of seven children…six males. A;; of my brothers are college graduates and eith retired or still working to support their families. I have plenty of nephews…most are productive citizens but there are others that are in trouble. Which goes to show that not all Blacks are thugs but there are some bad eggs in every family, community and race. Why must Blazers always paint with a broad brush?

  OMG! Why are we still talking about this? What difference will it makes in the long run? The President is going to travel…got it! He will use taxpayer $$ to travel…got it! His family will use taxpayer $$ to travel…got it! It will be expensive….got it! We will pay for it…got it! No amout of name calling and complaining about it is going to make a hill of beans of difference. He knows how you fringes feel. He (nor does most of the country) does not care. Get over yourselves. This has no substance. Its pointless to keep bringing it up. It just makes you look shallow.

  You people never cease to amaze me. First of all, the trip is to a cultural center in Mexico. Second, teenage children travel out of the country all the time…my neice just returned from Germany on a month-long exchange program. If I could afford to send my kid oversees to take advantage of an incredible learning experience, I would do it in a heart beat if I thought it was safe. Third, All of the President’s children have ahd Secret Service protection, whether they go out of the country or stay n the States. Fourth, Its not like the Obama’s went out and hired 25 new SS guys just for this trip. They were already on the federal payroll. Fifth, even if the child stayed home, you would still be struggling to put gas in your car or afford a vacation, so you haven’t lost anything and nothing has changed. Sixth, the stories were pulled for security reasons, so just live with it. Ecen conservative outlets have pulled the story so there is no liberal media conspindepiracy. you people are just hateful, plane and simple. You’ll meet your maker for it…believe me. I as an Independent am not impressed at the way the Christail Right is behaving.

  WOW! You people are so hateful forno reason. You listen to too much biased talk radio and TV. Mrs. Obama has no authority to mandate anything and you know it. She stated clearly that the government shouldn’t mandate healthy eating. She is merely encouraging every one to make healthier choices especially when it comes to our children. There’s no government mandate behind it at all. Her focus is on PUBLIC schools not homes. The government already support public schools and all she has done was encourage these schools to serve healthier meals to kids while they are there. The schools are absolutely free to make the choices of what they will serve for breakfast and lunch without the federal government’s interfering. Encouraging them is not bullying. Businesses are also seeing the importance of this, like PepsoCo. She is only asking for support to have food makers label their products with the information that help parents and adults make informed decisions. Again, no mandates. It kills me when you guys take a simple and good thing that this lady does and turn it into something evil and call her the most God-awful names. Hateful comments like the ones I’ve seen here only hurt the conservative cause. Independents like me are not impressed.

  Really???…Let the airlines ensure your safty???…Really??? Do you really think that the airlines would spend the $$ to make sure you are safe? Airline companies are just like every other corporation. They are in business to make a profit. They will do what ever they need to do to maintain their profits. That would mean they will need to hire extra personell and invest in security equipment. I don’t think that you and your safty will be priority. Their bottom line will be their main concern. There will be no incentive to protect you nor thier insured plains. Insurance companies as always will cover limited liability.

  I work for a large company and that company offers a healthcare plan (that includes a perscription drug paln) that I pay a premium for. Right now its about $195 per pay period to cover me and my family. It doesn’t matter to me weather I worked for a religious organization or an manufacturing company. I pay a premium for my coverage. I’m not asking the organization to believe what I believe. and they should not impose their beliefs on me. I PAY A PREMIUM FOR HEALTHCARE!!! I can’t tell you how tired I am of hearing that the collective “you” don’t want to pay for my perscription drugs. You don’t, especially if I pay for insurance. Stop falling for this trap that The Blaze sets for you and think for yourselves. This would be the same argument if the Jehovah‘s Witness would hire me offer a healthcare policy that doesn’t cover blood transfusions because their religious beliefs don’t allow blood transfusions.
