  Didn’t we learn from 9-11 that you can’t always just wait for the “authorities” to show up and handle things. I was asst coach on my sons 11 yr old baseball team and almost got banned from the league for breaking up a fight between two kids from the other team beacuase I “touched” a kid from the opposing team. I was told I was supposed to get a coach from their team to break up the fight. One kid was slamming the other kids head against a concrete wall repeatedly and I felt if it went on for another ten seconds it could have gotten really bad but of course when you got parents screaming “he touched my kid” no one wanted to hear the particulars. This culture of “it is somebody else’s responsibility” is part of what is dragging us down.

  No wonder our education system is in disarray, this teacher has no idea what she is talking about. Very sad that we think anyone who can make it through 4 years of college is qualified to be a teacher.

  Why would you speak about Atheists in that manner when there are many of us in the Republican party? If we are going to stop this Socialist/Communist/Anarchist agenda we must stick together and not call each other names when we all know this is a Democrat party agenda and not an Atheist agenda.

  Conservative Christians please wake up!!! This is not an Atheist agenda to scrub all religious symbols from every square inch of Government property, it is a Socialist/Communist/Anarchist agenda to do so and we all know the Democrat party is currently being run by that wing of their party. If the Democrats were against this as much as us Republicans it wouldn’t be happening at all. The Democrats are just using the Atheists in their party as the front men for this scrubbing for two reasons. The obvious one is that they can claim to be “offended”. The other reason is working out perfectly for them right here on this chat board, they want the religious wing of the Republican party to slam the Atheists in the Republican party so bad over this issue that the Conservative Atheists such as myself will stay home this election. You guys on here slamming all Atheists have no idea how many Agnostics/Atheists we have in the Republican party. Alot of us are for personal freedom, personal responsibility, and rugged individualism which we all know only the Republican party offers. So please lay off us Atheists, not all of us are Democrats and with this election coming up every single vote counts. We ALL are against Socialists/Communists/Anarchists and we can only defeat them in November if we stick together.

  Makes me want to strap on the 9mm everytime I step out my door. So sad that within 60 years we have went from leaving our doors unlocked at night to needing to carry a gun going to your mailbox after dark. My daughters boyfriend was walking to the store three blocks from my house 2 weeks ago and two thugs said “give me your wallet” right in the middle of a busy intersection under a street light and when he told them no they assaulted him. He came back with a fat, bloody lip and I think he was darn lucky it wasn’t more than two of them or it would have been much worse. It is very disheartening to see the road the liberals are taking us down.
