  • Since this news today people may see that they are being bamboozled again by Pelosi.

Although Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke testified to the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee last month that contraception can cost a law student $3,000 over three years and that some of her fellow students could not afford it, a Target store only 3 miles from the law school currently sells a month’s supply of birth control pills for only $9 to people who do not have insurance plans covering contraceptives.

That would make the total cost for birth control pills for a student who decided to use them for all three years of law school just $324.

    And then this:

75% of the counties in the USA provide free Birth Control under the Title X program.

  • Here are some quick facts…

The first Crusade began in 1095… 460 years after the first Christian city was overrun by Muslim armies, 457 years after Jerusalem was conquered by Muslim armies, 453 years after Egypt was taken by Muslim armies, 443 after Muslims first plundered Italy, 427 years after Muslim armies first laid siege to the Christian capital of Constantinople, 380 years after Spain was conquered by Muslim armies, 363 years after France was first attacked by Muslim armies, 249 years after the capital of the Christian world, Rome itself, was sacked by a Muslim army, and only after centuries of church burnings, killings, enslavement and forced conversions of Christians.

By the time the Crusades finally began, Muslim armies had conquered two-thirds of the Christian world.

Europe had been harassed by Muslims since the first few years following Muhammad’s death. As early as 652, Muhammad’s followers launched raids on the island of Sicily, waging a full-scale occupation 200 years later that lasted almost a century and was punctuated by massacres, such as that at the town of Castrogiovanni, in which 8,000 Christians were put to death. In 1084, ten years before the first crusade, Muslims staged another devastating Sicilian raid, burning churches in Reggio, enslaving monks and raping an abbey of nuns before carrying them into captivity.

In 1095, Byzantine Emperor, Alexius I Comneus began begging the pope in Rome for help in turning back the Muslim armies wh

  • Back in the 60′s when in the navy and having 4 kids already, my wife went to Planned Parenthood and they sold us a Birth Control device. It was cheap, but we trusted them. Well it worked for about a year, and then she got pregnant again.

She went to Planned Parenthood at that time to get Prenatal help as they were closer to our house than the Navy facility. They immediately recommended that she get an Abortion, as being in the military raising that 5th kid would be an unbearable burden both financially and emotionally.

We decided instead to have the baby, and got prenatal care at a local hospital. He was born prematurely but healthy.

He is now a successful businessman in Oklahoma, gave us 2 beautiful and successful Grandchildren, and a most loving and beloved son. WE hgave a wonderful family now of 10 Grandkids, and 19 Great Grandkids. The thought of even one of them not being here is a painful thought.

I feel for those that take the abortion route to make for an easier life today, and they may not have a clue how that will impact their life in the future. Guess I am just old Fashioned.

  • Right on. Our problem is that we have Iran, with a goal of world domination of their religion, based on 6th century laws, but now gaining possession of 21 st Century Weapons to further their goal.

And even though they threaten us at every turn, telling us over and over what their goals are, we keep giving them more slack.

What people do not realize is that the next Nuke war is not going to be a Hiroshima, or a Nagasaki, but one of small tactical Nukes strategically launched and detonated at 400 KM, shutting down an entire country in minutes. Iran is now setup with that capabilityy in Venezuela, p[atrolling off our coasts with Missile Subs. And anybody that thinke they wont use those Nukes if they cet them is mistaken.

Khameni warned the other day that there is a great Event coming that will use a gift of Allah to defeat Israel and the Great Satan and Islam will rule the world. Believ it or not. If we allow it, it will happen.

  • Planned Parenthood’s Breast Cancer screenings are exactly what a woman can do for herself, or get done by her Primary Care Physician at a normal Physical. So them saying they are so big on this is ludicrous. If there is anything found, they send you to a place where you can get a Mammogram, same as your PPC would.

They do not do Mammograms as they want folks to believe.

    In reply to blkbelt7.

It would only take one Tactical Nuke launched to about 100,000 ft and detonated over southern Iran from one of our carriers, and they would be back to the 18th century in minutes.

The age of Nuke Warfare and the destruction like Nagasaki and Hiroshima are long past. Now it is possible to totally shut down any country in minutes.

The country that strikes first wind – I only pray that we wake up and are the first. Iran has missiles now well within range of US Soil in Vneezuela. Missile subs deployed to patrol off the coast of the USA as well capable of shutting us down in minutes.

Could this be what Khameni’s following statement referred to last week?

“In light of the realization of the divine promise by almighty God, the Zionists and the Great Satan (America) will soon be defeated,” Ayatollah Khamenei, the Iranian supreme leader, is warning.

Khamenei, speaking to hundreds of youths from more than 70 countries attending a world conference on the Arab Spring just days ago, told a cheering crowd in Tehran that “Allah’s promises will be delivered and Islam will be victorious.”

    Makes me wonder.

  • Childish comment, based on what facts.

    Ever driven one????

  • I love being called a sucker at the pump when my Prius stop[s at about $20 to go another 400 miles. While the big truck next pump over is still counting at $50 to go the same distance.

Ignorance is bliss. And charles you seem to be a very blissful person, lining in a cloud of biased and unfounded claims. If you have no clue, why do you bother getting into the conversation?

  • Do the Math.

I paid $26000 fro a well appointed Prius 3 years ago. Could have bougyt a Taurus, also a Mid sized car with fewer goodies for the same price.

I save over $1500 per year on gas, $500 on Car insurance, and much lower maintenance. over the Taurus. So in 5 years when the contract is paid off, I will have saved $10,000 over the Taurus. Making me having paid effectively $16,000 for the Prius. And at that time just be reaching the 100,000 mile warranty going out.

Seems like a good deal to me. Plus I still have a car that is proven to go 3-4 times over the Warranty with normal maintenance. Tires, Brakes, LOF, and maybe one 12 V computer battery.

Last Ford I had, got a Tranny at 75,000 Miles. and a new Engine at 102,000. Which is why I went to Toyota.

  • The Hybrid batteries used are less toxic than the 12V Lead Acid cells used in all other cars.

There are less Toxic Chemicals in one Hybrid Car Module than 1 Lead Acid battery Toyota recycles every part of their Batteries except the spark.

I use Lithium batteries in the Model Hobby. Once completely discharged, you soak them in Salt Water, puncture them and throw them in the garbage. they are essentially biodegradable.
