    Really, I mis-typed “Your” as “You” and you post this crap. Get a life troll.

  • 1) If you want higher education be willing to work for it. I bused tables in the faculty staff lounge and worked in the campus book store. With help from my parents I graduated DEBT FREE!
    2) If you HAVE to borrow some of the funds for you education, at least major in something that is marketable. Art History probably won’t pay back your student loans.
    3) If you’re going to college on debt or grants and then spending money on parties, umlimited text and data plans and other stupid, then you are too STUPID to go to college.

  • It was this kind of attitude in our US public schools that caused my wife and I to turn to homeschooling. We have been a homeschool family for 4 years now. One of the most frequent comments we get is “You must homeschool, your kids are so well behaved”. I most recently heard this at a gun show this past weekend. Our children have the opportunity to learn the truth about the faith of our founders as they study the Constitution. Two things that public schools do not teach. They can also draw whatever they want without me having to drop my pants for the government.

  • I’d be happy to have you spend time with the “folks” outside of Washington. Preferably in the UNEMPLOYMENT LINE. Jan 2013 can’t come soon enough!!

    In reply to Quigley.

    @KIDKOLT

    Well Said!

  • Christie has shown great content of character. He understands that, despite Van Jones’ comments, there is not an unlimited supply of money to satisfy the WANTS of unions and those that seek “social justice”. He understands that government should only take care of the true NEEDS of the people. When people have WANTS beyond those needs they need to get up and work for them.

    Matthews and the liberal left will never get this. They sit in their own wealth and expect the hardworking small business man to provide for the wants of the lazy.

    This is why I would vote for Chris Christie in a heartbeat, and why I can’t find the remote fast enough if the channel accidently gets on MSNBC. Christie speaks with intelligence and is willing to listen calmly to those who oppose him. Matthews and his ilk on MSNBC, in the rare occasion they even have a conservative on, shout over them and refuse to let them speak. They can‘t win the argument so they don’t allow it and stoop to these kinds of CHILDISH personal attacks.
    .
    We all need to write to Chris Christie and URGE HIM TO RUN!!!

    Chris and Glen, fat, fat, fattys unite!!!! That would be a ticket I would vote for!!

  • Why is it that we can have a Christmas Tree on the Ellipse, a public place, but cities and counties nationwide are being forced to take down Nativity Scenes? Why hasn’t this argument been used to defend Christmas displays? Our President lights a tree in recognition of Christmas, Christmas, the Christ Mass, celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior. He does it in a public place in our nation’s capital. If we can have a display of Christmas there, we can have it anywhere! Stand tall Americans and bring back your local Christmas displays!

  • My fear is that the “rats” will continue the trend of steering the GOP ship towards a Middle Left agenda. We need to watch out for this new crop of RINOs. Find those good small government, low taxes, earmark adverse, reduce spending, TEA Party approved candidates. Even though elections may be 2 to 4 years away, line them up and be ready to kick the RINOs back over the rail. We need to keep polishing the deck until it is RINO free.

    It is unfortunate that many, if not most, of our politicians today believe that federal tax dollars should support the needs of individual states. We need to return to the belief that “general welfare” means: that which benefits the states as a group. When tax dollars pass first through the federal bureaucracy before finding their way to a state project, many dollars of administrative waste are incurred before anyone is actually benefitted. It would be better for the states and the citizens of this great nation if earmarks were eliminated, if bills contained only that which is required to meet the core purpose of the bill, and if federal taxes were reduced. Yes, states would have to find their own funding for their internal projects, or simply recognize that the project is a want and not a need.
    We need to remember the 10th amendment and eliminate all agencies of the federal government which do not have clear constitutional mandate. Too many of our federal agencies are nothing more than conduits for tax dollars to states for programs the states themselves should own and fund. We could balance the federal budget and return freedom to the states and citizens of this country if we would eliminate the redundant agencies that have been created in direct conflict with the proposition that “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people”. Take a moment, read Article 1, Sections 8, 9, and 10 of the constitution, and then make a list of the federal agencies you can think of that have no constitutional reason to exist. The list will likely startle you.
