  • GARYM,

Are you that ignorant of history. Mitt losing to McCain in 2008 has nothing to do with his electability now.

Ronald Reagan lost the GOP nomination his first run to Gerald Ford. GOP candidates never win on first runs unless they are the standing VP, a Presidents son or have tremendous name recognition like Ike did. That only works for Dems because they have the liberal media to shape their image for them. Matter of fact if they almost have to be completely unknown to win. All three of the lastest Dem presidents were unknown and the two who were the Dem nominee and well known both lost. Al Gore and John Kerry. It takes the four years after the first run to build enough name recognition and clear up the smear job the lamestream done on you. Plus it takes the experience of the first run to make up for the mistakes you made that the media jumped on you about and avoid them pitfalls on next run. Get your history studied before you go shooting off at the mouth. Mitt Romney is our very best hope and is the only one who stands any chance at all of defeating this tyrant want-a-be in our White House.

  • Garym, some people don’t wear their faith on their sleave and use actions instead of just pay it lip service that is Mitt. He has given more to charity, his church and in free public service than all of the other folks in the race. Let me rephrase that and say all of them added up together.

  • I personally will vote for whoever the candidate is. I will say that I have really lost a lot of respect and faith in Herman Cain and do not like Perry. That said I will vote for the nominee and even provide donations and volunteer on their behalf as I really want Obama defeated.

I do think Mitt Romney will give us the best chance to defeat the Marxist in Chief. I would really like to see a Romney/Rubio ticket I think that would win in a landslide.

  • For those of you who are trying to avoid reality and create a diversion by bringing up everything that Obama has done you are as bad as the left as that is their tactic. The fact is that hardly a day goes by where something negative comes up on Cain. Red flags should be going off in your head bigtime! If not then you are as blind as those who continue to support Obama. Do you really want 4 years of this if this guy were to be elected to the White House? Of course that would never happen as if the GOP were stupid and foolish enough to bury their heads in the sand and dismiss how unprepared and unpresidential Cain is Obama would eat him alive in the General and you will get what you deserve for being even stupider and deceiving yourself even more than Obama’s supporters. Cain with all his blunders and missteps and especially the pathetic way he has handled this scandal, his inner self is screaming that he is in no way prepared or comfortable about taking on the responsibility his ego is driving him to achieve.

  • JOHNNYMIDKNIGHT,

What you are saying about paying to avoid the hassle has merit, but you would be well aware of the pay out. If you do not find that to be very unbelievable that he was not aware of any settlement would be a total lie. The company would make certain he knew of the disposition of the case, I am sure he was very much involved both from the standpoint the charges were filed against him and the fact that there was a settlement. This guy deserves no more benefit of the doubt he has been given way more than he should have and now it is getting to the point where his supporters are getting desperate to defend him and are beginning to lose their own credibility. Giving that many passes is how we ended up with Obama.

  • Nobody is more wishy washy than Cain. He has come out and stumbled badly with very basic softball questions. To say he was not aware of any settlement is more than unbelievable. 5 figures are nothing to sneeze at so I would find it absolutely astonishing if he was not made aware of that. That right there would make him a liar. He has been caught saying he would not audit the Fed Reserve and another time that he would. He has said that he could easily see himself negotiating with terrorists and would empty Gitmo for even one U.S. citizen. He has left it very uncertain to weather his is pro life or pro choice. He cannot even answer basic questions on Foreign policy other than saying he would hire competent advisers. Sorry but what would happen if an incident happened that required a split second decision there would be no time to consult competent advisers. There should be red flags going up all over the place with this guy he is the least prepared person I have ever witnessed running for President and that includes the disaster that is presently in the White House. He has been both for an electrified fence and when criticized said it was a joke and there was no laughter or smile when he said it then he later reversed his reversal saying he was for an electrified fence when he seen that it was popular. He is very much a crony capitalist for Koch as one example and worked for them as a lobbyist.

  • We all just need to lower the tone as our one purpose should be to defeat Obama. I will support whoever the candidate is 100% Check this funny Halloween cartoon out as I think you need a good laugh.

  • I don’t buy it for one minute that there is nothing that Rick Perry cannot do about this. While it is true it involves the Fed. Government it also involves Federal abuse of a resident of Texas. Perry could bring great attention to this and shame the Obama administration into action. Perry if he was anything but a Globalist who is all for illegals and open borders, could be bringing this issue up every time he steps before a camera. Perry is big time just more of the same and anyone who supports him is basically just voting for Obama with more executive experience.

  • If this story doesn‘t prove to you that Rick Perry isn’t a globalist establishment tool I do not know what will. Perry as Governor should be bringing this up every time he steps up to a microphone and before cameras. I do not want to hear anything else about why Rick Perry should be our next President this is a total disgrace. If he had any chance at all of redeeming himself he had better start here. Fair enough?
