University Study Determines Fox News Has Least-Informed National Audience Based on These Questions
May 24, 2012 at 4:00pm
Did I miss something? I read the article twice and nowhere did I see the control list of correct answers according to the University’s study / poll on which they based their findings.. In order to make an informed decision we need all the facts. Furthermore subjective questions cannot be determined to be correct or incorrect as they are based on opinion, region, education level, financial level, religious beliefs, and birth order to name a few criteria for analysis of answers. The credibility of any study should always be questioned. The skill and ability of those posing the questions are another factor in any study. Statistics is not an exact science. It is a format which is used to describe or report data in a range. Depending on how a study is set up, the results will be positive or negative, growth or decline, or comparison. Other results can be focused on as it is dealing with numbers in studies.

This man stopped an ongoing crime. The police should have been called and the attacker arrested. Safeway has so much negative publicity now.
More Than 40,000 Ultra-Orthodox Jews Rally at Mets Stadium to Determine the Dangers of the Internet

To answer the question of one post Beck is a Mormon. Every religion has it’s own beliefs which are different from other faiths. If everyone believed the same there would be only one religion. Why is there so much focus on Judaism and Catholicism. Whenever an article is about Jews the anti-Semitism flows freely on this site. There are also negatives toward Catholics. To all the ones who love to attack another’s faith you must have a lot of free time on your hands. Try using it wisely for a change and study you may learn something about that which you ridicule. Ignorance is the enemy of us all and the reason for so much hatred in this world
Family Spends $1.5 Million on College for Five Daughters
May 20, 2012 at 8:21pm
Congratulations it worked for you. Startup businesses have a 80% fail rate. That is something a person learns in a Small Business Administration class, an elective in Business Administration. Also in Small Businees Management are taught the pitfalls and reasons for them. Education is important. It may be a BS or BA, a technical college AS or AA. It may be as a journeyman if someone is fortunate to know someone who is willing to teach and train them However in todays market there are professions which require a degree. Some technical 2 year schools are beginning to offer 4 year degrees. Yes we live in a time when graduates are finding it hard to find a job when they graduate but so are many other experienced people. Whatever someone does requires training be in in a college setting or on the job training. It all requires effort.
Man With 30 Kids — By 11 Different Mothers — Seeks Child Support Help
May 20, 2012 at 4:01pm
This man’s actions and the women he had sex with made the news. The problem we have in America is two fold, responsible parents are having fewer children because they want to give them the best life they can. That means emotional and financial support and parents who are involved in their lives. They are responsible parents who are paying for the irresponsible The other end of the spectrum are those that keep having children without responsibility and see their little ones as a free meal ticket. It is one of the reasons we have illegals here because of the benefits they receive with multiple children. This is creating a financial nightmare for all of us. It is also creating a dumbing down of America. Children deserve parents who care, support and protect them. In the kid is my paycheck mentality it isn’t happening. As for a solution I don’t have one I wish I did.

New Obama Ad: Planned Parenthood Says Romney Wants to ‘Take Women Back to the 1950s’
May 19, 2012 at 11:32pm
I don’t care if you buy it. The facts of this time are facts whether you like it our not. PTSD existed then just like it does today. Abuse existed then it just wasn’t talked about. WWII changed this country. It made many widows, It disrupted families. It was a time when women left the home and went to work because the men went to war. Men came back having lost the innocence they held because they saw and experienced atrocities. Children lost fathers or had fathers come back scarred by war. Ignorance in your case may be bliss but it isn‘t reality and to shyman if you do not understand a history lesson then that’s your problem. Men who saw action may not have talked about it because it did not bring happy memories. If you have the privilege of reading a parent or grandparent’s letters sent home while based in the European theater or in the Pacific you will read the stress, sadness, and attempts to protect loved ones from knowing the hardships these men faced. The 1950′s was a time of regrouping and trying to get it together. The GI bill helped people to have a home and go to school but it didn’t take away the scars of war. It didn‘t erase the adjustments families had to make and it didn’t take away the hate that people felt toward a prior enemy. It is part of our history and part of who we are today. If you grew up during this time and everything was great you were lucky.

Church attendance does not mean goodness it simply means attendance. There are spiritual people who do not attend a specific faith based church. I read each comment and came away with the view that there are kind people, humble people, some well-meaning people, and some very arrogant people who have posted. How you treat your fellowman that is a character monitor. Science is very critical to life. Without it we would have never found cures for disease, be able to do life saving surgery, understand the cosmos or live with the benefit of electricity, the automobile, refrigerators or washing machines. Science is the thing that allows you to post. Science and thirst for knowledge are part of man, It is a good thing.
Anti-Christian? NYC Politician And Conservative Groups Demand Change for ABC‘s New Show ’GCB’
May 19, 2012 at 10:39am
I agree this comedy is hilarious. Satire is about making things stand out ofen times in a edgy way. The characters are larger than life and this series explores relationships and human flaws. It is sad when people cannot laugh at human nature. I don’t think it is being picked up for a second season and that is disapointing. We need to laugh. Laughter allows us to rid ourselves of tension. Little children laugh for pure joy. It is sad when adults forget how to enjoy life and become so critical that they have angry hearts.
