  • Shoes for industry!

Americans, ask yourself these question: “Who’s going to get your garbage, us or Tojo?”

Today’s winner is Mrs. Beverly Yatamoto of Camp 13. She crocheted her entire month’s allotment of garbage into a splendid barrage balloon.

  • When Glenn Beck launched The Blaze, I had high hopes that this would be a web site that we could turn to for education and inspiration that would get us through this social mess that we seem to be mired in these days. Instead, what I see is an electronic version of a supermarket rag that looks down on the “MSM” for their biased, unimaginative coverage while running stories of only equal (and sometimes lesser) journalistic value.

My suggestion to The Blaze is this: stop assisting the very people and ideas that it (and Glenn Beck) hypocritically claims to oppose. News flash: the Black Panthers, Jeremiah Wright, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and the entire line-up of idiots at the big 3 networks, CNN and MSNBC are all irrelevant. No one is listening to them directly. Why assist them in re-broadcasting and amplifying their negative messages? Let their non-stop stupidity be like a tree falling in the woods with no one to hear it. These people are only empowered and emboldened by having their messages reprinted and paid attention to, no matter where or by how many.

Instead, turn your coverage to the ideals that will get us through these times and help to re-build America. Hose off the mud, and give us more serious information on government issues, more education on the history of our great nation, and more stories about the people who are trying to inspire others for the better.

  • “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” Matthew 7:21-23

Despite this man’s civility and common sense, his scars alone will not help him when Christ returns. Nor will our scars alone help us.

  • That’s not the sofa.

  • Not to nit-pick, but you’re not seeing AC-130′s. You might be seeing C-130′s, but the AC-130 is a different animal altogether. The AC-130 is the Spectre gunship.

  • Great aircraft. Not a bad article, but I’m afraid the HH-60G will not achieve a forward speed of 200 miles per hour. More like 150 knots max cruise (about 170 miles per hour).

  • Amen, brother!

Those brave men did their country a great service by terminating that piece of garbage with extreme prejudice. In my world, BHO should have told us what happened, congratulated and thanked the men who actually did it, and made some reference to the work that has been done over the past 10 years (by the Bush administration) that led us here. He should have commented on the moral need to kill OBL (and anyone that aspires to take his place). And then he should have shut up. Period. No answering questions on every detail of what happened during that 40 minutes (it’s obviously not in our national interest, he can’t seem to get the story straight, and he can’t get his staff of clowns to keep their mouths shut, either). No more “he was armed”, “he was unarmed”, he was firing a weapon”, “he was reaching for a weapon”, “his wife was a human shield”, “no, she wasn’t”, “we killed him”, “I think we killed him”, “we watched it”, “we lost the video”, “I’ll release the photographs”, “we can’t release the photographs”, and on and on. No more. For all the hard work and sacrifice of our brave servicemen, we still look like complete idiots. And the media needs to exercise some self-control for once and shut up about the aircraft wreckage, what the aircraft may have sounded like, what happened to power and phone service in the area, and all the other crap that I’m reading. What have we become? We’re like children. Time to man up. We’

    In reply to hempstead1944.

We scratch our heads and wonder how this barbaric, callous behavior can happen in our cities, when really it should be no surprise. Our relationship with God is our moral compass. Remove the compass, as we have done so well over the past 50-plus years, and this is what fills the vacuum. We’ll hear all sorts of suggestions, blame, and rationalization in the day or so before this man’s fate is completely forgotten, but there is only one answer: a return to God and his Word. If we don’t, don’t expect things to improve. Expect more of this and worse.

And while we’re at it, let’s start with a return to truth at all levels, including the truth about where our commander-in-chief was born. There’s a big crack in the foundation, but there are those who would tell you to be quiet about the foundation because the paint in the kitchen is a bigger problem. Don’t listen to them.

  • Our servicemen are fighting and dying in combat in Afghanistan, and I can’t find a single thing to read anywhere about it. Our nation, our history, and our way of life are being stolen from us by the socialists, communists, and progressives. But wait, let’s see, here’s an article about non-lethal force used on a squirrel in Texas.
