  • That is funny GiGi80. Brian Ross is the quintessential far left ideologue and always has been.

    ABC has the video but refuses to release it. Why is that I wonder…?

  • Deuteronomy 21:10-14

    10When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the LORD thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive,

    11And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife;

    12Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house, and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails;

    13And she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thine house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and she shall be thy wife.

    14And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not make merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled her.

    Hmmm…I’m not seeing the “rape or murder” parts in there.

  • @ Loyd Drako

    The Blaze has a new post up today with the author of the piece on Palin and he now blames the copy editor at Politico…

    “”The trouble occurred because the copy editor added the words ‘she said.’”

    Not very believable as the statement was put in quotes as a direct attribution to Palin…

    However, kudos to you sir. Not many posters admit when they are mistaken. You have my respect.

  • Loyd Drago you are wrong. Politico dropped the quote marks only today after being called out on it by several outlets besides sarahpac.

    In fact. even the Blaze missed part of it; the words “she said” that was in the original article.

    The original statement,cached and screencapped in dozens of places actually said:

    “Palin’s bus tour had some of the hallmarks of a primal scream: ‘I built this constituency, not Bachmann, not anyone else,’ she said. Looking at it through her eyes, she has a point.”

    It was characterized as a direct attribution although the authors had never spoken directly with Palin.

    They admit as much in their retraction:

    “An editing error caused a false attribution in an earlier version of this column. A comment by the authors was transformed into a direct quote from Sarah Palin. She never said the words attributed to her. Those words were written by the authors,”

    There was no “editing error”. They LIED, pure and simple.

  • What short memories they have. MSNBC did indeed condemn the very team that took out Bin Laden, calling them “Cheney’s personal assasination squad.” (Olberman and Maddow both).

    Lying tools, all of them.

  • I had to laugh at O’Donnell. Such a smug little lib, and so eager to spend someone else’s money…

  • MLK’s “dream” was a united America in which all races were equal. Beck’s rally reflected that.

    Sharpton’s dream is of a United America in which all races are equal…without “whitey”. His rally reflected THAT.

    Al Sharpton only decided this date was important AFTER Beck picked it. IF it was such an important date why didn’t he have a rally already scheduled?

    Unfortunately, there are a lot of racists in this nation, but I know of only one connected to either event who has been convicted in court of racist/slander — Al Sharpton.

    Remember the Pagones vs Sharpton case in the Poughkeepsie, NY court house? (the media has forgotten it seems) Sharpton’s racist slander began in the case of Tawana Brawley — a black teenager who falsely claimed rape against some white males.

    The Pagones vs Sharpton decision was that Sharpton along with two others, Maddox and Mason was convicted of racist/slander and fined $345,000 (Pagones had sought $395 million) Sharpton also had to pay back a hefty chunk of “missing” donation money that Sharpton was accused of stealing – $250,000 through what the state called a ”phantom” charity.

    Of course, Sharpton did not have that amount and had to get “supporters” (like Johnny Cochran) to pay his portion of the fine and the missing charity money.

    Beck has raised over $5M for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and that figure is climbing. Palin didn’t get a dime.

    Sharpton and several of the other race hustler speakers arrived together at his “Reclaim the Dream” rally in a stretch Rolls limo.
