  • Yea, what‘s really sad is that the people who voted for this wing nut still think he’s doing a good job. And, who can argue that from their point of view? They are doing just as wel, if not better, than they were previously. They either kept a job in a union shop longer than they should have. or their welfare benefits went up, etc… That is the Democrats’ base. Oh, and the cafeteria Catholics who go to Mass weekly only to balk at the mandates of the Church…

  • I’m sure Pelosi and the progressives plan to “enforce” their doctrine, probably with force that has already killed mllions of people, but I think we would all find it hypocritical of any church that did the same. Is it possible that the Catholic Church issued the mandate, and left its enforcement to the free will of its congregation?

I would think so, but that’s probably too big of a concenpt for Mrs. Pelosi. Fake Catholic, baby murderer that she is.

  • Too bad they didn’t just shoot him. That way the Democrats could keep the Kennedy mystique going with another sappy story.

  • “After the event, Bush told Dallas CBS affiliate KTVT-TV the GOP contenders need to take care not to campaign too far to the right.”

It’s this statement right here that proves Jebis another progressive Republican. He’s not a conservative. A conservative does not apologize for his/her beliefs. The liberals don’t. The problem that we have in this country is that there is no counterbalance to the far left policies of Obama, Pelosi, and Reid.

If Bush is nominated at a brokered convention, he does not have my vote. I will stop paying taxes, and I will prepare instead for revolution. Not that I haven’t already…

  • What a cheapskate too! Who would really do that for $730? This chick is about as bright as the burnt-out light bulb!

  • I doubt the results of many polls, as I saw how polls could be manipulated as a undergrad student in college. The simple fact of the matter is this. Those people who atend Catholic Chursh, and who support the “contraceptive mandate” of the President, are living outside the mandate of the Church. Whether they consider themselves Republican, Democrat, or Independent, I was a Catholic long before I choose I political persuasion. I answer to a high power than the President, and that includes my priest, my Pope, and my God. I know many cafeteria Catholics, and they are usually the loud and lazy ones at Church. They tend to vote Democrat. They turn most people away from the Catholic Church. I wish they would just find another church to attend.

  • Massive Oil Deposit Discovered in Arctic Region

    In reply to Ponyexpress.

I’d agree with you Rabble, but the fact is they wouldn’t be looking in the Arctic if the EPA would let them look elsewhere. The EPA forced BP offshore, and then blamed them for the oil spill in the gulf. Drilling closer to shore is much easier than deep shore drilling.

  • Look, I am going to come off as some sort of warhawk, which I’m not. But….

There are some major differences between military spending and spending on social programs. Military spending creates a standing and ready army as well as good jobs for Americans. Tell the good people of Lima, Ohio you are going to cut military spending and their Abrams tank plant is closing.

Social programs are basically and eighty year war on poverty, that have failed more so than the three wars we currently find ourselves embroiled in. They create nothing more than bureaucratic jobs in the gov’t. Social programs , in my opinion, are over bloated, with no reasonable results. Social programs are not mandated as a responsibility of the gov’t.

Which, is the most important function of the federal gov’t. They are supposed to protect us from threats both foreign and domestic. It is a core responsibility of the federal gov’t.

So, you might say we need to cut m,ilitary spending, and I might agree to a point. We shouldn’t be in Iraq anymore, or in Afghanistan anymore, and we should never have gone into Libya. But having a modern, ready military to protect the US from external and ninternal threats is paramountin my mind. My taxes going to a group of people who are lazy and drug infested is not okay with me.

    There will be no warning….

  • What an absolute idiot! I‘ll bet they say this guy’s IQ is 160 like Obama’s. A complete waste of human flesh and oxygen thief.

  • I hate to inform you “No Race is Superior”, but who built Obama up to be the superstar? Get your head out of your rear.

The main stream media made this guy a messiah, and he’s far from even being a good President. Everyone likes to blame the coach, because it’s easier than blaming all the players. This situation isn’t any different with politics. Obama rolled in here claiming this and all that, and has simply delivered NOTHING. Oh, except higher unemployment, a debt crisis, now a default and universal health care that no one really wants.

He was the best thing since sliced government cheese, but it doesn’t melt on sliced bread very well. So, I wonder if you are the type who ran around and blamed W for all the problems in the problems in the pre-Obama world. I bet you are. I tend to thinkt he President is a figurehead, and we get the government we deserve. And boy, did we get a dog that won’t hunt.

As for South Africa, is it even possible (in your own mind) that those who were “freed” from apartheid didn’t take it all that seriously that they were “freed”. Some gave nothing to get everything, and some gave everything for nothing. When something is given, it can create a “dependent” individual, even in South Africa.
