  • Why not some justice for Matthew Owens now? Isn’t it about time we demand it? If they want a white/black war I am all for it. I for one have had enough!!!

  • Hmmmm! If BO is looking through his rose-covered glasses and bullet-proof glass the photographer must be standing in the middle of the DMZ. God, don’t you just love our brave President.

  • When you got them by the balls their hearts and minds will follow!!!

  • What happened to this guy, and why he deliberately killed 16 people I have no idea. I have served in two wars, Korea and Vietnam. Two tours in Korea 1950 and 1952, and two tours in Vietnam 1966 and 1969. In Korea I served with the 24th and 7th Infantry Divisions. In Vietnam the 5th Special Forces Group. I figure I am qualified to have an opinion on this incident. First I am completely confused on the stories the media is reporting. I can’t understand how he got out of his compound alone in the earlier hours of the morning. Secondly, it has been reported that his buddy had his leg blown of in the compound from an explosive device. How did an explosive device get inside the base? These bases are under extremely tight security? If he was standing next to his buddy when the device went off why wasn’t he also wounded? In my humble opinion there is more to this story than we are being told and I for one will wait until the facts come out before making a judgment.

    In reply to Thevoice.

I passed through Pyongyang in October of 1950 on my way to the Yalu River, in fact I spent my 18th birthday in a city just north of call Anju. My recollection of Pyongyang is that it was a dead city, and the country itself as backwards as it could be. Doesn’t seemed to have changed much.

  • A reflection of BO’s administration. This guy simply doesn’t trust his own troops. It also shows you what little leadership we have in the Armed Forces today. Our top military leaders are no more than what we used to call “Brown Noses”. It is no wonder we are losing in Afghanistan!

  • ” BO said…”You don’t have to count on my words. You can look at my deeds,” I looked, couldn’t find any of note.

  • Woi cares if they are “0 to 1” with Old Maid Van Susteren.

  • RetiredSF, I agree 100% with you on your “Born in the North to Die in the South” comments, however, can’t agree on Paul. To each his own! My problem is, I believe that the American people are so tied up in their own little worlds that they can’t see the forest for the trees. God help the United States of America. De Oppresso Liber

  • Dismayed Veteran – Agreed up to a point, but there is no way they could be considered a terrorist group. They were just a bunch of concerned citizens blowing off steam. JustAngry got it right. Blackcrow – how many citizens have the slightest idea of OPSEC? The fact that they had no OPSEC proves they weren’t a terror group. Ruler4You – It’s not hard to see which side the U.S. Government favors. I believe from the evidence I have seen up to this point they weren’t planning to kill a Law Enforcement Office (LEO). They only talked about it in a joking way. Planning and talking are different. I wonder why the so-called “New Black Panthers” aren’t investigated and nine concerned Americans are? Like many other Americans, I am greatly concerned about the path our country is going down. Like those nine Americans, I would like to be part of an organization that is taking steps to get my country back on the right path. I believe that there is nothing wrong with any organization training its members in survival techniques and the use of firearms. To me, that is only being prepared, and looking at the conditions in the U.S. today, it is a good idea. This is in no way preparing for a revolution. I myself belong to no organization, but having spent 26 years of my life in the military, I am prepared for anything. It is time that the ordinary Americans took a long look at their law enforcement agencies and the steps they take to protect us and the Constitution. Our Departm
