  • Texasbeta is correct. He reworked the Bible because he (and other Founding Fathers) didn’t believe in the “supernatural” stuff in the Bible. That is why they didn’t see themselves as Christians. They did believe in God and believe that many of the things in the Bible were of good use and should be followed but the “events” that didn’t fit with science where seen as man embellishing the “Good Book” with stories.

  • I agree. here is a Facebook page I created about the topic.

  • Isn’t it funny that as soon as he stopped running that we heard nothing more from the women he supposedly harassed. ???? Didn’t they all say they were not “coming out” now because he was running, but because they needed to set the record straight? Why have they not continued to push Cain about it? Way to “fishy” for me. I find it sad that the media has this much power to remove a regular citizen from running for POTUS. What‘ even more sad is some people still believe the media’s lies.

  • Mr. Lucas is simply very confused in regards to Capitalism. The issues he described that he is againts are not Capitalist ideas but Corporatism ideas. Nowhere in Capitalism does it say that business should be able to buy politicians. People seem to think we have a true Capitalist system here and point out all the problems they see and say “Capitalism is bad” when the truth is all the problems they see are not Capitalism. Now Capitalism isn’t perfect but it is the best system IMO.

  • Ron Paul was trying to explain a concept that he understands but most Americans don’t; and that is forcing manufacturing type jobs back into America may in fact be worse. I know that sounds crazy but let me try to explain (this is grossly oversimplified to make a point). Let’s say a person spends $100 a week with 20 different companies (ranging from $10-$1). Let’s say company A gets $10. I will use Walmart for this because they are at the top of the China labor/cheap prices debate. Let’s now say you force Walmart to use American labor which costs more. This will cause stuff at Walmart to go up in price. So now this person must spend say $15 to get the same stuff as before. Well he only has $100 so that means he must make cuts somewhere else. That means there will be other companies that won’t get any money from this person they used to and their sales will go down causing them to lay people off. The net effect on jobs total will be neutral. You gain jobs in one area but end up losing them in another. However the real problem is this person now because of the higher prices couldn’t buy as much “stuff” as before. So the result is a lower quality of life. If you look at the “big picture” you will see having stuff made in China for low costs (as long as the low cost are passed onto consumers) is in fact a good thing. The real issue is we need to create more high end technical jobs to replace the manufacturing jobs lost and that also involves fixing a broken education

  • Ron Paul 2012 (that is all; carry on, lol)

  • Ron Paul 2012!!!

  • Well there is another reason NOT to vote for Romney. Just proves Romney is nothing more than a part of the “establishment”. Remember this is the Bush that was preaching the praise of the New World Order.

  • I am simply appalled at the disgraceful attempt being made by all of media to destroy Ron Paul. The bias against him is truly pathetic. I for one will not let the media pick my candidate for me. LISTEN UP MAIN STREAM MEDIA!!! The more you ignore Ron Paul, the more you lie about Ron Paul, or the more you try to shove the “establishments pick” down my throat; the more convinced I am that I am voting for the right person and the more motivated I am to fight for him. RON PAUL 2012!!!
