  I too grew up loving the Monkees. My Dad drove my best friend and I to one of their concerts in Memphis when we were in fifth grade. I also have Davy’s individual album AND a complete set of Monkee bubble gum trading cards…HAD to go see them again on their reunion tour. Biography Channel had a one-hour segment on Davy about a month or two ago, featured his first wife, kids, and what he was doing these days. Wonderful, wonderful memories of days gone by…Rest In Peace Davy.

  On a side note, anyone notice the MULTIPLE CHEMTRAILS overhead in the picture?????? Everyday across our country planes are spewing tons and tons of chemicals into our atmosphere in an effort to “geo-engineer” the weather…Those same chemicals fall down where our children breathe them in and they contaminate the soil…If you don’t know anything about CHEMTRAILS, YouTube is alive with information but just start by LOOKING UP!!! At least 3-5 times a week, we have them being sprayed where I live AND, NO, THEY ARE NOT CONDENSATION TRAILS!!!! Contrails will evaporate after just a minute or two and disappear – CHEMTRAILS LINGER and SPREAD OUT until the sky is just a white haze…..LOOK UP!!!! LOOK UP!!!! LOOK UP!!!!

  Since when is saying “Allah is Great” translated to mean “no smoking?“ Passengers actually on the flight say he was yelling ”Allah is Great“ while the press release says he refused to obey a ”no smoking” sign….can someone tell me how those two statements can possibly be related??

  While I love the thought of no cold (20 years in Florida where “cold” was defined as below 70 degrees), I agree with several of the posts:

  1) chemtrails aka geoengineering – they are screwing our planet and us…LOOK UP!!! The uninformed will say it’s just “contrails” but a normal contrail dissapates after a few minutes. There is no evidence that remains because IT IS WATER VAPOR turned to ice crystals by the cold. The crystals are heavy, they fall into warmer air and melt….Chemtrails linger and spread out. They are FILLED WITH CHEMICALS that fall to the ground, onto our plants, where our children are playing, etc. Research for yourself and understand what they are DOING!! I live in Tennessee and almost every nice day, we start out with a bright blue sky that is quickly turned into a whiteish haze from chemtrails. I have written to the Governor, and every single state legislator and NOTHING!!! These planes are coming from somewhere, and somebody (you and I) are paying millions of dollars for gas, salaries, chemicals, etc. to kill ourselves….

  2) No snow means no melt in the spring means water shortage means food shortage means higher prices means inflation pressures means choosing between food, housing, utilities, medicines, etc. means bad news…

  God, please bless America again…

  Yes, Yuma High School’s mascot is the Criminals but what you fail to explain or appreciate is that it is a nod to Yuma history as the regional jail for the Arizona Territory. In 1910, the high school in Yuma burned down and the city had to use the Yuma Territorial Prison (which had been shut down) until the bond was passed to pay for and rebuild the school. In 1912, the High School went to Phoenix to play for the state championship and the Phoenix students tried to deride Yuma by calling them “criminals.” The name stuck, has now been copyrighted, and the bars from the old prison are at the gate to the sports field. Yes, it is unusual but it reflects a part of Yuma’s history from one hundred years ago, and while you may not fully appreciate Yuma because yes, it IS HOT, maybe you should go visit the local museum and learn about the true, hard-working pioneers and natives who lived in that land and built that region. I had to drive there in a car that lost its air conditioning on the way and it was horrible – yes, I’m a wimp. But it made me fully appreciate the strength of the people who were there originally and/or came there on horseback and in covered wagons, had to travel in the cool of the night, and built a town, state and country. Instead of hating Yuma, why don’t you do some research and appreciate the brave souls who built the community?

  Correct me if I’m wrong but the Constitution says that CONGRESS shall make no law…NOT the states, and the 14th Amendment was just a Progressive tool to start corrupting the “original intent” of the Founders.

  I just want these atheists to go start their own town / state (I vote to give them New York or Michigan) where they can all be happy not be offending by each other, and leave the Silent Christian Majority to worship our “Creator” (thank you Thomas Jefferson’s Declaration of Independence) in peace.

  Of course, at the pace they are working to destroy our Country, God (yes, I said it) will be coming back anytime now and boy will he be PISSED!!!

  Sure would be interesting to see how many atheists have Near-Death Experiences and come back “saved” or remain atheists…

  Somebody explain to my how an “attorney” who supposedly has studied the Constitution in law school (yeah, right!) does NOT know what the First Amendment ACTUALLY says, and what Jefferson REALLY said (and WHY) about “separation of church and state.” If I as a lay person can educate myself on this issue, why the h*ll are attorneys so stupid?? My God, do these people not have ANY sense at all???????

  I used to live in Paragould growing up and Congrats to the school district for telling these people to “pound sand.” As Spock would say, “the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one.”

  Maybe all these atheists who are so “disturbed” (pun intended) by Nativity scenes, signs across a road, crosses on top of water towers, etc. should start their own friggin‘ town where they can all be unhappy together and not bother the rest of us who DO believe in celebrating Jesus’ birthday!!!

  Maybe George Soros can buy some land for them and donate it, or maybe the thousands of dollars that OWS has in the bank can go toward starting their own town. Then they can all “work together” (ha!) in harmony….Don’t worry, we all know that town would fail just like the first “communist-style” colonies in the U.S….Idiots, surrounded by idiots!

  I used to work for the San Carlos PD about 30 years ago, and it’s sad to see a “good city go bad.” When I was there, it was a great place: small community with wonderful people, crime was minor – traffic accidents, home burglaries, occasional homicide. Don’t know where it went wrong but sure hate to see that they are on the list…wonder why they were $3.5 million short? Wouldn’t have happened with the people there when I was there…But California has gone down the Progressive road to destruction and become a tragic example of what NOT to do…Only saving grace, the weather and a few people that I love still live there…

  a) How very sad that there are SOOOOOOO many sheeple still infatuated with this POS and b) it was probably planned all along…

  Gee, I wonder why we never hear any heckling from the Tea Party groups?? (even though it would be rightly deserved…)

  On a brighter note, notice the sparse crowd…..there used to be rows and rows of koolaid drinkers… I’d have loved to see a wide-angle shot of the crowd to see how big it really was…
