  • “preaching in public school is an obvious violation of the Establishment clause).”

    The establishment clause applies to the federal government- establishing a state religion. Prayer in school does not establish a state religion, just as forbidding prayer in school does not establish a state religion. And what about the second part of the establishment clause- ‘not limiting the free exercise thereof’; it does not say ‘ not limiting the free exercise thereof, except in public schools’

    @wheels141
    You said: “NO GOD that I believe in would consent to the outright barbarism of this so called Allah. Just do me, and so many others a favor, and just STFU! I feel much better now.”
    Read the Old Testement.
    STFU??
    Sorry, can’t do that.”

    Two things:
    1) @wheels141- “STFU!”- really… you’re going to use that while discussing God and religion???

    2) QWEEQWA- “Read the Old Testament” If you‘re addressing this to a Christian it doesn’t hold much weight. There is a reason the New Testament is called the NEW Testament- Christians are not Christians b/c of the Old Testament. Please provide evidence of God consenting/ ordering one group to kill another in the New Testament (and please don’t come back with Revelation).

    I make this last comment as a person who lived in a Muslim country and know that most of the people there are like most people anywhere – they just want to live there lives and be at peace. But someone please explain this:

    OT (orders to love and kill others), NT (orders to love others), Koran (orders to love and kill others)- why would there be a return to violence?

    Mr. Beck, I hope you do read comments. Can you PLEASE educate your fans that Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all pray to the same God. Allah means God in Arabic. “”

    Wow, since Allah means God in Arabic and God means God in English then the God of Islam must be the same as the God of Christianity. Let’s not worry about the difference of the meaning of the word “God” to Muslims and Christians (or Jews, Buddhists, Taoists, Hindus, etc).

    Here is an object lesson- chi-chi means cute little girl in some latin countries, go up to a Mexican or Brazilian mother and comment on her chi-chi. You’ll learn a valuable lesson on how the same word can have different meanings to people.
