  Did I miss the comedy in that late night “comedy” show? EVERYTHING is about politics and where you stand in the arena.

  Here is a thought, when you have a group of people that call themselves….lets say, Republicans, and they have a very firm belief in their positions and can back their beliefs up with facts to verify,right or wrong that IS their belief and if you don’t agree, YOU are WRONG. Then you have another group of people…..lets call them Democrats, who have there own beliefs that they believe in just as strongly as the Republicans and can back their beliefs with facts to verify their beliefs as well. If you disagree with them YOU are WRONG. Either group can produce SOLID evidence that their positions and beliefs are correct which proves EACH is wright and the other is WRONG! Everything today is SPIN. Is that glass of water half empty or half full? IT IS BOTH!! Both statements are correct and factual, but one statement can be spun positive, “we are half way there, keep going guys we can get it full”. OR negative “we are now half empty and if things don’t change soon we will run out.” Both sides are correct and accurate?

  Neither side wants to give ANY credibility to the other because the struggle for dominance is SO tight that any power or credibility given to the other side could lead to the belief that if they were wrong on that, maybe they are wrong on a lot more? And so it goes. So WHAT do we do????

  One of the many things that recently made me want to throw in the towel was when an elected government official said on camera in an interview ” we all say what we need to say to get elected, BUT once elected, we have to govern.” and NO ONE said ANYTHING about a statement like that!!! What the HE**!!

  Maybe, just maybe, it is time to get away from D or R and get back to right or wrong, get back to what the majority want? I guess me personally, I want someone (R,D,I,L,Red,Blue,Green,Purple,Yellow, I don’t CARE) to stand up and say these are MY beliefs and this is MY proposal to you the American people, and mean what they say and do what they promise. If my values are like yours and my proposal sounds like the plan of action you think we need to take then vote for me and I WILL proceed with the action plan I have submitted to you for your approval.

  When asked if he or she was Republican or Democrat or whatever, their answer would be “I AM ME” here are MY beliefs and this is MY plan for the future of America! The D’s have some good ideas, the R’s have some good ides, the I’s have some good ideas and so on, and believe it or not I actually have some good ideas of my own.

  I understand the concept is that the back and forth keeps us in the middle.(in theory) But no matter who you are, at some point you get tired of arguing your side,( who has time for it, I’m to busy trying to support my family) then you disconnect from the whole thing and whatever happens, happens, it will take care of itself, I don’t need to worry about it. I am SO tired of the arguing, the spin, the LIES, the my dad is tougher than your dad, the you’re so stupid CRAP!

  I am at the point of disconnect but realize that if to many from either side disconnect at the same time, the “balance” will be thrown off. Almost like a game of “chicken” who slips first? Then the “other side runs wild with their ideas uncontested.

  We all have our individual ideas and beliefs, but deep down, I think we are all VERY similar. I believe the MAJORITY of people want the same things. If we are such intelligent people, why cant we seem to come together and accomplish what MOST of us truly want?

  Could it be the D‘s and the R’s? Just a thought.
